I suppose you just won't be satisfied unless I tell you why...ok, ok, I served 5 hours spread across 5 days consequent to a conviction of forgery (of my mom's handwriting, excusing me for a no-show).

These were 5 hours that largely formed the character I have today. I still recall--in moments of of quiet reflection--hearing a distant train rolling 'round the bend (down to San Antone [sic] for all I knew). Time draggin' on, the spectre of fancy dining cars inhabited by coffee drinkin', cigar smokin' rich folks came easily to mind.

I hanged my head and cried, while popping a zit between my thumb and forefinger.

NP was never comfortable with public nudity in high school gym classes.
