Yahoo! I get to go shopping (as if I don't visit Rob's site regularily). It's almost my second vape anniversary and my spouse is getting a new aquarium AND just because I want to. (We always clear hobby purchases with each other out of respect but we are both so grateful that I ended my 40 year habit 2 years ago, that's it's really a non-issue. I use restraint when I need to).

So, this time I'm thinking of going with a Grand. I have a black wrinkle mini and a gorgeous Woodville. I really think I can do without the LP as I am a happy camper with single coil/ smaller chamber attys. not sure I can wait for the Resin.... Am still open to the SL but not really sure...... Considering colors......or maybe silver wrinkle......red with black wrinkle........

Just thinking out loud here and had to share my news! I'm am so very excited!

The Grand will be a perfect companion to your Woodvil and the Mini. Same batteries as the Woodvil too!

The tough choice of colors is up to you! I am sure you have looked at all the pics in the Photo thread and know them by heart!

Whatever you choose you will enjoy it for a untold time of blissful vaping!

Two years deserves a CONGRATS! and a REO!

Yep, been thinking about the silver tone and tumbled raw aluminum also. Would certainly work nicely with the silver atty. I've tended to go with subtle but might spice it up? Am even considering the space-age looking ones (SL).

Actually the Woodvile I got last year is one of the smaller ones....hmmm....is it the mini? (Uses the same as my Mini). I believe it is the 18490 version. So I'll need the bigger AW's.

For sure go with the new look of the sl! Once you have an sl the reg will be old looking.

Silver vein looks nice as well.. but since you already got black for something different go with hammer tone or raw or live large and grab a color.

I have a sl hammer tone with black wrinkle sl door and it looks great. Also red metallic door looks sweet on it as well.

Newest is a sl black wrinkle and red metalic door.

Hmmmm....I'm really starting to eyeball those SL's. Blue caught my eye but that black with red metallic sounds fun too!

I'm re-thinking the LP (or anti-LP previous thought). In. I understand the flexibility with attys with an LP. What I am wondering about is this. I know that if you have an existing Reo milled into an LP and use a 14 mm atty, one can see a bit of shininess (OCD here) because the color has been sanded off. If one buys an "original LP" has the shininess been painted over? Hope that makes sense.

Geez Louis, I have some high end problems to figure out these days huh?

Congrats on no smoking and the possibility of getting another REO. I just got my first, a SL/LP. The lo pro is painted, no bare metal showing. At least mine is...

I'd definitely go with LP, cuz ya never know what direction you may want to go with atties in the future. and I'm with you, don't like the metal showing on a milled down one. But.....will be sending my mini in to get milled soon as I can.

As to SL, if you want to try it out first.......you could always get a SL door and see if you like it. I am not so fond of the SL mods, but I'm liking the looks of the doors, haven't tried one yet though.

And wahoooooooo on comin up on 2 yrs of no smokin!!!! that's awesome!!!

yay congrats banner with ballooon background Med.jpg

Yippy! After listening, pondering and sleeping on it, I just ordered an SL/LP Grand in Metallic Red!! A little flash for the Reo family. It will fit right in with my black wrinkle Mini and my 18490 Woodvile which is a beautiful, yet functional piece of art. I am so excited!

Thanks all, for your thoughts and suggestions. Sometimes it takes a village to choose your next mod. Thanks Rob for your commitment to excellence and for being such a presence on this forum.
