i know what back pain is all about after a surfing accident afew years ago, laid up in hospital for weeks and that was no fun at all ..its still erks me every now and then, specially when i am on a wave and feel a niggle and can't surf for to long without a rest in between these days.

Hi Guys! Thank you so much for all the nice posts. You guys are the best. I can only sit here for a little while. Took the Vicodin and Flexeril so I can sit up in my comp chair. I've had a bad back for years. I was supposed to have surgery in March but BC/BS found out I smoke and denied my surgery. That was a big reason I had to start vaping. Sunday I was out on my deck working on containers for flowers and all of a sudden I felt an explosion of pain in my spine and a loud Pop. It felt like someone walked up to me and cracked me across the back horizontally with a 2x4. Luckily I was in the process of sitting down and I fell into the chair the pain was so bad. Another lucky thing my sis and BIL were home. I had to have my sis go get my drugs before I could get out of the chair. Monday morning I was in bed and woke up in another horrendous amount of pain. It took me 45 minutes to get out of bed. I was hollering at my sis who was sleeping upstairs. I tried for 15 minutes to wake her up. Finally I had to call my boss and have her call the house to wake her up so I could get some help. Today I was supposed to go to the doc but we had a water pipe break right when I was fixing to try and take a shower. I loaded up on the drugs and then couldn't get in the shower. So now I'm going tomorrow morning. What a mess. But it's slowly getting better and, again, I appreciate your kind words. It's so nice to have friends like you guys. Well, this is amping up again, so I'm signing off. I'll try tomorrow.

Now where are my drugs.

Well i better go pick my dog up from the vets, thats why i was having money problems at the moment until a friend unexpectedly helped me out today ..and i will for ever be greatful to that person


My Dog snowy who is a white maltese terrior and like family to me jumped off a childrens fort from up high!! when my niece and nephew took him to the park for a play, he broke his 2 back legs after he jumped and i was extremely!! upset and sad at his plight

Anyway the vets bills really set meback and i didn't no what to do, but as i said i got a supreize when i mate helped me out with it ....it cost $150 for the operation to set the breaks in his legs. the rest is covered by insurance

I will post a picture of my Dog when i can, i can't find his picture on my computer right now..

So sorry about what happened to your pup Rick! I hope all went well with his surgery and that he'll recover quickly. Looking forward to seeing his picture when you find it!

Jo, I am so sorry to hear this! I can pretty much imagine what you are going through, as my daughter is in the same situation and I see what she is going through. She is scheduled for her 3rd surgery June 3rd.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I have attached a picture of my dog snowy to this post ...thats a picture of him when we found him on the street homeless eating from garbage bins and looking all scruffy until we washed and cut his hair ...yeah i no very sad ...but we gave him a good home and he has become like family, i love him to death

i have another picture of him all clean and looking prudy but i can't find it among all the computer files ...if i find it i will post it so you can see how cuuuute he is heh heh~Ricck

But nooooooo!!!!! I'm not gonna do that 'cause I'm a dog person too, and I have a HORRIBLE back myself. ( I do the steroid injections about 3 in a series twice a year) so I'm gonna let this one slide, and show another picture of our puppies instead!
