Was ready to order for over a week, as you may or may not know, he has had merchant issues pertaining to paying with credit cards. Spoke to him last night, and said he would be up and running by the time I got home from work today (3pm), went to RE ORDER, closed. WTF ?! I am just about to give in and get the Dragon M401... any good ?

This damn BS i had to go through with that site, I could have had it by now. I looked at widowsbead, etc. and I really want the 501 matte black w/ blue LED.

About to give up and go w/ the Dragon. Is the dragon just as good ? :mad:

I've never ordered from them, but they have a really good reputation on this forum. Most of the vendors are experiencing problems thanks to PayPal and are having to switch to a merchant credit card system. I don't know if that is the problem but I hate seeing an "angry" post like this given the current circumstances. I'm not saying that you shouldn't be frustrated. (I'm the type that when I make up my mind, I want it YESTERDAY.) And, if you don't want to wait, that is understandable. I guess I'm just suggesting to watch HOW you say things...just my .02 cents!

I'm waiting, too. Yes, it's frustrating but Dave's gotta do whatever he has to do to reopen without problems. So, I'll trust and wait. He's been a great supplier... my first RMV order was on his opening day. Since then I've ordered a LOT from him, and have never had anything less than excellent, fast service at the right price.

RMV prices are so good, I have no issues waiting until he's back up and ready to take my money. It's been tuff for these vendors with all the customs and FDA issues. Many of these folks are former smokers/vapers who love the product and want to help others (and make some $$ :D ). A vendor in my own city closed b/c customs has thousands of $$ in merch they won't release. I think we're pretty lucky to have folks like RMV who continue to give us great prices and (mostly) free shipping.

I understand your frustrations. If you want to pay a bit more there are other options, but consider giving RMV another chance. :)

I was just able to place an order, but the confirmation screen that came up stated the order wouldn't go through until tomorrow morning, when the credit card processing stuff is fully in place. Not really a problem for me, since I wouldn't expect an order placed this late in the day to be processed until the following morning anyway... :)
 
Relax, It's only because Paypal is shutting ppl down, it's no one's fault really, who knew? I spoke to Dave from RMV last night and he explained that he is new at this, and will get it resolved as quick as he can. You could order from some place else and run into the same issue and still have to wait it out.

I had this issue with 3 different sites this week, but the way I see it, atleast we are able to purchase pv's, because as it is, if the FDA had their way, no one could sell them/buythem

We just all gotta stick together, be patient, support our suppliers by not making life harder than it already is for them, to supply us our product, and try to help each other out, that's all:)

Yeah , I know ur ......, but Dave's a good guy and he is going thru hell right now with the PayPal nonsense and trying to get his Merchant account set up. Jason at www.electronicstix.com sells the black Matte 510 with Blue LED for a slightly higher price, or you could try www.thesmokesafe.com as well, both have great Customer service and fast shipping. Hope that helps. Go with the 510 though, you won't be sorry.

I am new to all this just started a few weeks ago. I placed an order with TW on 8/11, then found Rocky Mountain Vapor and decided there were a few more things I wanted. So on 8/15 I placed an order with RMV. The RMV order was shipped on Saturday 8/15 and arrived on Monday 8/17. The order placed 4 days b4 from TW shipped on 8/15 as well!! I know TW can't help the shipping time once it is out, but Dave managed to get a package ordered 4 days later out in the mail on the same day as an order placed 4 days b4.

So Daves service is top notch and worth waiting for in my opinion...

I tried to place a second order through RMV on Sunday, but it got caught up with the pay pal problems. He also called me last night to discuss my order and patiently answered all my questions, not only the ones about his products but ones ordered elsewhere. He was very informative and helped me with everything. I am wanting to stock up on liquids, but being so new at this I don't really know what flavors I like, so it is hard to stock up when you don't know what to stock up on, but that of course is a matter of taste... Dave had some suggestions... but I am still a little unsure of what flavors to do!

I was checking the site all day waiting for him to go back up, I must have missed the little while he was back on-line. Oh well, I will keep my eye out tomorrow, but I WILL wait patiently to place this and other orders with Dave, because the service has been top notch and these are about the best prices I can find.

You know what dude, Dave is the greatest guy and a GOOD vendor. Give these people some slack with all this pay pal BS and getting up another alternative. Some things are beyond their control. He is trying his hardest!!!!!!!! Your loss if you chose not to order from him, because his prices are great and with the pretty much zero for shipping, pretty tough to be beat. He also has awesome customer service and friendship. I give him a 10!

i have been aggravated lately with RMV...though i realize what Dave is going through, so i cut him some slack...
i have been out of juice since last friday...and i have been trying to order some from RMV since. sadly, i find myself going back to discount analogs until his paypal is sorted...i gots to have my fix, or i might maim my roommates.:(


i forgot to mention that RMV is the best supplier i have ordered from, and their customer service is fantastic....its hard to be mad at such a good guy for something that isnt his fault...im just sad that i caved, and started sucking on butts again.

Dave's bent over backwards for me when I needed an emergency overnight shipment of attys. He charged me considerably less to ship overnight than other vendors were quoting, his prices were lower, and I had them in my hand the next morning. And that was the first time I ever ordered from him. Every other time I've ordered from there I've had my stuff only one day later than the overnight took, and it was free. He even told me this when I was asking for the overnight shipping, but I just couldn't wait. Fantastic customer service, prices, and shipping. Don't blame this PayPal issue on him.

my opinion, that's all it is is an opinion........wait for the 510. tried 3 pv's b4 finding the 510, and it is by far the best.

also, i have ordered several times from rmv, and they are superb, quick ship, great customer service, free ship, and fantastic prices!! i will order from them again and again.

in the mean time, good prophets have a really good deal on 510 as well as drew from nhaler.

but don't count out rmv, they are just sorting some things out that they had no control over and should seriously be cut some slack.
