Hey everyone,

So I vaped for about 2 month back in '11 with 510 650mA batteries and 5V passthroughs with kanger cartomizers. I was making my own juice and it was a lot of hassle.

I'd like to start vaping again, this time I want as little hassle as possible with decent flavor/vapor. I'm confused with all the tank options and coils and whatnot. I used to be a low usage user, max 10 minutes daily and I wouldn't vape everyday. Actually 2/3rd of the time I was on the passthroughs too. Also I don't think this will be used outside of my home so it won't be roughed around or anything

I like the Innokin iTaste VV V3.0 feature that you can use it as both a battery and passthrough. Price does matter but since I don't vape all that much, I doubt that's going to be a problem. Quality matters more. What do you suggest?

I really like the Innokin VV. It's a great device for the money, and I've had the best performance out of my Innokin products. I really like to pair my Innokins with Kanger tanks as well. I love both the Protank and Unitank - nice Bottom coil tanks, great flavor and vapor. Some people don't like the "airy draw" with Protanks, but I prefer a tank that I don't have to work hard to get good vapor from.

It does all come down to personal preference though. Just my :2c: :)

For me, it's 2 Vision Spinners and a couple of Kanger Evod tanks.

The Evods are around 5 USD and take the same coils as the Protank 2. Same coil means they have a very similar vape. 1 coil will last 1-2 weeks, and then you can clean them with alcohol and they are like new.

Now, I also have a lot of other vape gear, a few rebuildables and what not, but I am not a cloud chaser. I love the simplicity of my Spinners and Evods.

The Itaste3 sounds like a great set up for you. It's been a well reviewed battery and very good for it's size. I believe one can also get pass through Ego batteries. The Ego would be easier as you wouldn't have to learn a menu, but it's not variable power.

Don't worry about the Nautilus for your needs. For one, it's big and on the heavy side and simply fits better on bigger battery set ups.

I would say clearo's are the easiest plug and play atomizing "toppers" if you want to try/use various liquids. (Most of us prefer that to pre-filled cartos.) Clearo's are very easy to fill and one doesn't have to do any maintenance. The Kanger Evod, Protank and Aspire lines are probably the most favorite these days. On all of these you can by "replacement heads" and not have to get a whole new unit, if you prefer.

Pre-filed cartos would be the easiest, but can be a bit pricey and the selection of flavors is limited.

IMHO any clearomizer you buy today will be much nicer and easier than what you used when you vaped before. The products have improved considerably.

I also vaped and quit because of the trouble. Everything was a clean this or a fix this or a gurgle that and it was just annoying at a certain point and I am........well, lazy.

I have the iTaste vv/vw 3.0 and it is a good battery for the price. I use the Protank II (with an Aerotank base if you can find one - like $6 for the base only).

Charge the battery, change the coil and a re-fill and the Protank II is the best I have personally tried so far. The pass-thru feature on the iTaste is handy. The 800mah battery is less than desired but for what you said your use was plus the pass-thru, it should be okay.

Please don't hate on this last part......I did buy a Provari and use it with the Protank and it is heaven. A long lasting battery that is durable and consistent BUT the price is high and then you get into the removable batteries and chargers and etc. I am not saying you should get one but it is low maintenance and works well...........but I don't think you could go wrong with the iTaste and Protank II

After looking around, I feel like going for the good stuff so I really want to either try the AeroTank or the Nautilus. However, the Nautilus being huge, I'd probably need to go for a bigger battery which I really don't mind.

So all I'd need is a battery, a tank and e-juice? oh and coil replacements for down the road?
