I picked up a Phoenix clone for $10 last week and have been having a blast with it! Vaper production is nice, and it's so easy to rebuild. However, I get no consistency with flavor. I wrap my coils to ~2ohms using 32gauge kanthal wire with a cotton yarn wick. Some flavors taste great, some lack. I know these are good flavors because I have used the same ones (from the same bottle) on a LR 510 atty and a SR tank. I tend to wrap my coils slightly larger than the wick so that there is little wiggle room, but it is not right on and constricting the wick. I have made them right on the wick with no movement, and this seemed to help on some flavors, but hinder on others. Am I doing something wrong?
