I bought this e-cig from this mart which was a bit expensive used it for three days
i had mild headache and sleepless night. i don't know why, may be due to the quality of juice? or the nic-content 19mg/ml?
and then the quality of the e-cig coil head or the wick started giving me burning taste third day.
could not touch it again!
Hence i came across this forum and joined.
Guys please help me as to why this may have happened to me?
Where and how to buy e-cig good quality along with juice? please help
as i desperately want to quit smoking.

Hi! there vapors!
No one seems to have replied to my quires!
It seems the search has reached the dead end here by now. everyone is tired of answering new vapors in dubai.
We will not just leave it here. Will find a way out to cause this is the only thing through which it seems i could quit smoking.
Happy Happy vaping guys!

Hi, ashmili,

Welcome to ECF. Sorry, I really can't help much with your question. Are e-cigs restricted or banned in Dubai? Can you just order stuff from FastTech.com?

Apart from that you might have to search around the forum; I don't think I've seen many folks here from Dubai (but I'm pretty sure there are some!)

You might try to PM someone from this thread:

Hi! there twgbonehead
Thanks for the reply! :)
Yeah they are banned here. that's the reason i'm anguished
saw something really awesome and i can't have it.
yeah... i've ordered a evod twist vv for starters just to see if it passes through for a test from fast tech. and am waiting since two weeks
again in one mart here I got a i go 4 which burnt out in two-three days and started giving real nasty headache so had to leave it there
this mart is too far from where i live and i'm planning to go there tomorrow.
I saw there are lots of people around here from UAE, but no one seems to have a real way out
Thanks again! twgbonehead
Happy vaping!

This video will show you how to clean and dry burn your CE6 tank to prolong its life, How to clean and dry burn a clearomizer. I don't know what a GT1 tank is but Google results turn up something that closely resembles a Protank. This video shows how to clean and dry burn bottom coil clearos which is what I'm guessing the GT1 is, Clean Your Atomizer - Protank EVOD MT3 T3 Kanger.

Since e-cigs are illegal in Dubai the best long-term strategy would be to try to get your hands on device that takes replaceable batteries. Look for things like a VAMO, Innokin SVD, ZMAX or IPV 1 or IPV 2. These type of devices have battery safety features built in the electronics.

You probably won't be able to get the batteries locally and shipping from China will probably take a long time as they will likely need to go by boat rather than plane. Ask on ECF before ordering batteries to make sure you are getting ones that are safe to use with your device.

A mechanical mod would be another valid choice. They don't have any electronics to break which is an advantage where e-cigs aren't legal. The downside is that using them safely requires incredible battery safety diligence and knowledge as there are no safety features built in. If things go horribly wrong, the 18xxx sized batteries used for vaping are powerful enough to take off fingers, break facial bones and/or take out teeth.

For something to hold the juice go with a rebuildable tank like a Kayfun or Kayfun clone if you can find one. Look on YouTube for videos for directions on how to build.

You will need some Kanthal A1 wire for rebuilding which is not unique to e-cigs so you should be able to import some if you can't find it locally. For wicking you can use cotton balls or Japanese cotton pads like Koh Gen Do or Shiseido which are sold as cosmetic items to remove makeup.

For juice, DIY would be the way to go if you can manage to get your hands on some nicotine. The PG, VG and flavors used in e-liquid are all used for other things.

That's the GT1 I saw when Googling. It appears to be very similar to the Protank 2 so the video I linked for cleaning/dry burning should work. If that is the case you can rebuild the heads if the coil breaks after repeated cleaning and dry burning. The heads are quite small and more difficult to build than a Kayfun but, with some practice, should be doable.

If you don't have a battery that reads oHms you will need a multimeter or oHm meter to read the oHms for your build as well as checking for shorts. It is very important to do that before you put a rebuilt head on your battery!

You can get a multimeter anywhere that sells electronics. The oHm meters are easier to use and double as a nice building platform. You can get those at Fasttech and should not pose a customs problem.

This video shows how to rebuild a Protank with a cotton wick which should work for your GT1. Before you try rebuilding pick up some extra heads for your GT1. That way you will have good heads to use to vape while you are learning to build.
