I have to say, I'm ecstatic about this one. Ever since I started vaping my dad has been increasingly interesting in it. He has been smoking for almost 40 years at almost 2pad, tried everything to quit. I ordered him an Ego-t (figured a VV mod would be a bit much for him), a Vivi Nova, and some very nice turkish tobacco juice.
24 hours of him vaping he has not had one cigarette, and I can still stand being around him. Seriously, thats a huge fricking deal!
Its even more surprising that he isn't chain vaping like I still am after a month, ahah.
Anyways, I'm very psyched about this and just wanted to make a post!
Have you gotten anyone to switch from analogs to vaping?

What turkish tabacco did you get him? I have been trying to get my mom to make the switch but she hates all my juices. IM not a big tobacco juice fan ( although i was when i first started vaping ) I had some year old tribeca from halo that i let her try and that was a no go haha so i have been trying to find something for my mom that she might enjoy.

i set my mom up with my old ego twists and some cheap clearos to try. went over to her house one weekend and let her try some flavors in an atty. she took all my sweet juice! lol she is little more than a week off analogs and it seems to be working for her. she says she uses a tank a day. think they are like 1.5ml tanks. the juice is 12-18 nic.

Its the Turkish Blend from myfreedomsmokes.com. I smoked Camels and its a close resemblance but nothing extraordinary. My mother said there was a slight fruity flavor when she tried it, but she doesn't vape.
Overall, its a strong Tobacco flavor that resembles a cigarette a lot, including the throat hit!

I have got my grandfather to quit, and my uncle to give up cigars by giving them some of my old gear. After about two weeks, my uncle has already made his first FT purchase for a Vamo. The only problem is, that I have become the family eCig repair man when they can't get their device to work right. Apparently I'm on call 24-hours a day, and expected to make house calls.

In all honesty, it feels even better getting someone else to quit by vaping than it did when I quit myself. I just can't get my mother to attempt a switch. Everytime she takes a drag off mine she starts coughing and gets mad I made her try it.

I'm relatively new to vaping. Currently using a iTaste VW 3.0 and T3S filled with assorted tobacco flavors from iVape... very happy with everything so far, although it took a few trys to get a coil head that didn't leak. I've got 3mm bamboo and silica wicks and 32ga Kanthal wire coming from High Desert so I can rebuild my coils without a flavor wick... as I understand it, the flavor increases dramatically.

Both my wife and daughter smoke and they tried my rig. They both coughed, even with weak hits - but liked the flavor. I'll get them eventually... I think they're (psychologically) not too thrilled about a rig that's 7" long, so I'll pick up a 650mAh pass-through eGo and a shorter clearo or 35mm tank set-up to create a sub 6" rig.

Best of luck to all trying to get friends and family to kick the cigs. I smoked Camel straights for 40 years and haven't touched a .... in 9 days... so far. :p

I hear you there Brother, a friend went to South Carolina, (I live in Florida), and called me in the middle of the night because she forgot how to turn it back on and wasn't clicking fast enough!

You might try picking up a bottle of 0 nicotine and 100%VG....just an idea....

After almost a week of him not having a cigarette he is still a joy to be around! He has had an unopened pack of smokes on his bedside table and hasn't even thought about opening them!
Its pretty great, when I go to my parent's house it no longer stinks and we taste each other's juices. He has a ton of bottles, probably pushing 30 already. That is how much he is digging it!
And dang, he no longer sounds like darth vader when he eats, vaping is a god-send for my family! :p
