thank you War and Zen
The Iclear 30 worked great for three to four refills on both Provari and MVP only with a little gurgle. Now it won't fire on either, although both devices will fire other toppers. So it truly is the iclear prob. I will try and find my multimeter today and check it. I did push and pull on the pin, just didn't want to break it. I guess I'll try and little harder adjusting it since I don't have anything to loose..............lol

Ok, following up..... finally checked iclear with multimeter and nada.....can't blame mvp:)
I wd love to know why the iclear died though!!!!!

Another follow up post from 12-29-13! If you followed my saga...........was able to save the full tank of juice from Iclear 30 by removing with syringe. I then took it apart to salvage the wicks! (can't say I am not frugal!:) I figured for whatever reason the coils were dusted. As I took it apart I realized that the head was not screwed down into the base! Since it was the first time using one I didn't understand how they were put together! Screwed it down and checked with multimeter 2.2. Filled her up and vaping happily :))))))))))

I love the MVP for what it is. A cheap feature rich mod. But it uses cheap materials, mass produced and is not perfected by any means. Something is bound to go wrong sooner or later.

That's funny right there....I guess you had to be in the big Provari flame thread over in the general e-cig forum to appreciate the humor.

I was accused of being an MVP shill, and I suppose I am....And will continue to be until someone else offers something better at a similar price point.

I just got my MVP2 last night after having to decide between it and the itaste vv v3. Well I'm having some issues.

I'll start off with something that isn't actually the MVP2's fault but has irritated me. The iClear30 I got with it will not work. I can't seem to find anything wrong with it. I filled it up with juice and then I got a NON reading and yeah. Didn't make me a happy camper. Unjuiced it (managed to lose most of the juice too from not paying attention, my fault though. Then I checked the forums. Took the plastic cap off the top and the coil seemed to be centered and not touching the metal sides. Tightening and untightening the atty four or five times (different tightness each time) didn't help. Nor could I figure out how possibly the center post could be pulled out or in. So there goes that. Probably a dead atty. Which is awesome because now I have a tank I'd like to try sitting around and I'm not going to buy attys for it when I don't even know how it hits.

Now onto the actual MVP2.

Sometimes my mini protank 2's don't register for a bit. Then suddenly will work. I do not understand this. I do nothing to them expect just wait for the machine to register it so I don't know why this would be happening.

It's burning my CE4's and mini protanks a bit? I've been experimenting, mostly with the wattage, but haven't really done anything that I can imagine would burn it. I only know this because when my MPT2 wasn't registering I took it off and cleaned the bottom out with a qtip and it turned black. Inside the MVP2's connector thing it didn't have much, but there was some black residue too.

The resistance will change when the same tank is sitting on it. A mini pro tank 2 will go from 2.1 to 1.9 within 5 minutes. Not really sure how that works.
(Interesting bit, I got two CE4's with my ego starter kit I bought like two weeks ago. One registers 1.9 resistance. The other is usually 2.5 but has registered up to 3.9. Tightening it pretty tight (not completely though I've read enough to know better) got it from 3.4 to 3.9. Odd that two of the same things would be that different.)

Okay so other than the protank mini 2 not working for a while and then magically working and the iClear30 being a dud, overall I can deal with this. And other than those two things, I am pretty much in love with it. I know that nothing is perfect, but dang I wish it could be.

Buy this:
510 to 510

Unfortunately, one of the main problems the MVP2 has is the center pin.

Iclear30 fires fine on my mvp. However the protank 2 I rebuilt does not. The pro tank fires fine on my vamo and gives a constant 1.9 ohm reading so no shorts. Tips on adjusting the mvp 2 for my pro tank. Anyone with similar issues?

I had this issue with the MVP right out of the box.

It is caused by the center pin, inside the part of the MVP that you screw your delivery device on to.

I would HIGHLY recommend you buy the adapter I linked to in my post above......it is a must for anyone who has a defective mvp like we have (Yes, I call it defective....because that IS a defective mechanism).

Essentially what I believe is happening, is that the center pin for some reason isn't staying in place. some delivery devices push it back, so when you try to use ones that require it to be higher up, the device wont register.

This is a HUGE pain in the .......... and before I got the 510 to 510 adapter, I basically had to use tweezers and pull up the pin everytime I switched delivery devices to one that needed the center pin slightly raised.

Thanks I'll give it a whirl. Can't get my hana v3 soon enough.
