Travel and Vaping Getting ready to fly on american airlines

Has anybody flown with a GG

Hello its Jim,
I am getting ready to fly to Denver from Chicago on American Airlines.
Can anybody tell me what I need to do to be able to take my GG with me so I dont take a chance of it getting taken away from me as this thing looks like it could be a mini pipe bomb?
If anybody knows the rules please inform.​

I don't think evey they know the rules, so it will probably be a grab bag. If you're lucky you'll run into TSA agents that treat you like a human being. If not . . .

i have been thru TSA checkpoints several times with my ego,,usually i put in my coat pocket with my phone and any other metal devices,,,

i always avoid using those little bowls ,,

Apparently the TSA people who have checked my stuff have obviously seen PVs before. No problems or questions at all. I just kept 2 Riva batteries plus a 510 slim in one baggie and the cartos/5mL liquid in another bag. That went into my carry-on. Had essentially a duplicate of that in my checked bags along with about 40 mL worth of liquids just in case one or the other got "lost" Both kits were fine through TSA and the AA baggage people. Vaped like crazy in Vegas but only saw a couple of others with PVs over my entire 5-day stay.
