Noob question alert:
I just got my Kanger Unitank Mini in the mail yesterday, and it was producing a pretty decent amount of vapor/taste right out of the gate, but now I can't get a good hit at all. It feels like I'm sucking in air, and even when I go at it for 5 seconds, a pathetic amount of vapor comes out of my mouth :(

Did I do something wrong while filling it? What usually causes this? How can I fix it?

Seems like its flooded. That's the problem with those units. Whip down to get the extra juice out then try it.

Lots of variables here...
What PG/VG ratio are you using?
What is the ohms on your coil rated for?
Are you using a "dark" colored juice?
Is the battery at full charge?
Is the tank "gurgleing" when hitting on it?

PG/VG ratios ( hi pg low vg) gives less vapor
A hi ohm coil reduces vapor when battery gets low
Dark juices and hi VG juices "gunk" up the coil faster thus reducing vapor
A low battery reduces vapor
A flooded air tube reduces vapor

If you have coil replacements, put in a fresh coil... if not and you are coil savy, do a dry burn and clean off the crud with a toothpick.

Gurgling in a bottom coil Kanger is almost always a condensation issue in the air tube. When it happens, the condensation falls down the tube and into the coil. Vapor production falls off. Grab a paper towel and twist up one corner tightly so that you have enough to reach the bottom of the air tube. Insert it all the way into the air tube and then twist a few times. When you pull it out the end will be wet and the gurgling will be gone. About once every day or two I do this and it's a permanent fix for gurgling.

I suppose that depends on the relative humidity where you vape. I live in the sunny, humid South where condensation is easy to create. When I use a tank with a clear tip like the Evod or the Protank 2 that has a replaceable tip I can see the drops inside the mouthpiece. Gravity sends it down the tube where it can invade the coil and wicks. When that happens, the vape density drops.

Tilt it upwards;

You should also try holding the open mouthpiece to your ear and when you fire the button, if the coil is damp properly, you will hear the popping sound, but if the coil is flooded it will be more a low burble. tilt to drain liquid away from the flooded coil (but dont let nic liq fall in your ear please!)
