First off, thanks to whoever it is that started this forum, and all the participants. It's been a phenomenal help to me.

Next, a little history. I stopped smoking analogs about 4 years ago. I never was really "addicted" to smoking, I don't think, but rather always enjoyed the act of smoking itself. I was a very social smoker, and would only smoke about half a pack a day by myself. However, when I was around other smokers, that number went up drastically. Even after I quit, I would still find myself picking up a Black & Mild or some other little cigarillo occasionally, just to enjoy the habit again.

Then, I found out about e-cigs. It started as a way to get the motions and the act of smoking without all of the harmful side effects. I picked up a disposable ecig on a road trip, and found myself greatly enjoying it. I then decided to do a little more research. After finding njoy and Mystic and all the rest, I stumbled upon this site. Lo and behold, the promised land!!!! You guys opened up my eyes to an amazing world of possibility. No longer am I limited to Menthol or Regular cartridges. I now see tanks and Clearomizers and Box mods, Oh MY!!!!!

I can tell you right now that this is going to be one of my new favorite hobbies. I got my income tax check back, and after much research, using the tools provided to me by all the combined experience and wealth of knowledge of this forum's users, I have made my decision on hardware.

I'm going to pick up a Riva 510 kit from liberty flights, as well as a couple packs of clearomizers. I have juice ordered from ECBlends, and many more sites on the bookmark bar.. including some Boba's Bounty. My only problem... as I was clicking on the "Checkout" button on liberty flights... the site is no longer responding. I noticed in their thread that they are having that issue about this time. So as eager as I am, I must wait just a bit longer.

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to get my story out there and make sure that everyone knew how very appreciative I am for their expertise and willingness to share. I love this community!!!!

Thanks to you all,

Dariox

pen style with a clearomizer...yikes. shes going to be going throw battery charges like crazy esspecially if you got her the 180mah batt. did you get auto batt or manual? if its auto becareful of leaking juice in the air hole on the battery threaded end. if juice gets in there its easily game over for that battery. also what ohm rating did you get for clearomizers? also if they are the CE2's watch some videos they are a bit tempermentle. if these are them listen close.

Well.. her pen style came with 2 cartomizers.. I didn't even think of leaking down into air holes on the batt, though. The clearos are 2.5 - 2.9. I think they should run fine with the 900mah riva batts. If I remember correctly, the Riva runs at 3.7v

Edit: They pen batts are 280mah

they will work on both kits. just be careful if hers is a autobattery.

Those are the clearos I got.. 2.5 mil blue led (cuz I think that's just cool...)

and I'm ready to do a bit of tweaking on them to get them to work right. I like doing stuff like that anyway. I imagine once I'm able to dedicate more funds and get some experience under my belt, I'll be doing some mods.

Awesome. It seemed like LF had good reviews, I was hoping they were carrying some decent stuff. Anything I need to do with them right out of the box, do you think?

Generally they are good to go out-of-the-box. If you do get a dry hit/burnt taste just remove the mouth piece and pull up on the silicone seal a bit to give the wick more room. You can use a bent paper clip for that.

BTW, Lf is one of my favorite vendors. They carry some pretty decent stuff, are inexpensive, offer good warranties (and they honor them too :) ). Their shipping if fast and inexpensive. If you ordered today you'll pobably get you stuff by Monday.
