Getting the most out of your E-liquid flavors - from a person 1 month plus in

I first tried SmokeStik about over a year ago- just a basic ....ty menthol pen style-- worked for maybe a month- I refilled the cartos without really knowing what I was doing- I found the strength to be at the least lack luster. gave up and went back to smoking regulear cigarettes. Then after money got tight I decided to check it out again but really research. I am now after a month on eGo styled 650mAh with a rotation of clearomizers and cartomizers that hold 2-3 ml or so of juice. I know when smoking I would avoid exhaling out of my nose for the smell and black buggers associated with that. With e-cig vaping I find now that this is essential for maximum flavor reception of e-cig vaping. those that are new to vaping I know for some of you exhaling through your nose seems like a BIG no-no. But worry no more. There is no tar to give you those black buggies and no lingering smell to deter you any longer. It is super important I have found that while vaping you exhale FIRST through your nose for atleast a half second and then continue exhaling through BOTH your nose and mouth for flavor purposes. You are vaping now- you mine as well make the most of it.Your tastes depeng on your sense of smell SOOO much and trying this helped me realize this. Not only this but on the inhale, move your tongue around to experience and pick up on the suttle and overtone flavors of your r-liquid or e-juice. It is a world of difference. So far the o9nly time I have yet to bum a real(hate that term REAL cigarette but it gets the point across) cigarette is when my battery dies at after hours places. but it taste so ....ty in comparison and I feel like such .... affter I can hardly choke down the one I ashamidly ask for. Good luck new vapes! :glare: And yes I plan on getting a 950mAh variable or twist. I don't NEED a big thick MOD and would love to get off niccotine all together eventually. now it's 18- 12mgs till then. Hope this helps some of you,

Thanks artt. Any suggestions? I'm going to go to a variable 900mAh ego and probably stick with evods or clearos. I like tanks but they seem to break in my pocket (they all seem to have a 510 connection aka bye bye juice into my pocket). Any way like a cuff or 510 to ego converter to keep this from happening?

Welcome Mr. Rice. Nice to meet you and thanks for a great piece of advice. Remember, "backups for you backups" is the oft quoted secret ingredient in the recipe for success for getting off stinkies and on to vapes totally.

I am a very good addict. I always had a couple packs of cigarettes on me at any given time that I was away from the main stash. Always carried the big purse and even had a couple of DH's packs before we started smoking the same brand/flavor. Also had lighters stashed everywhere with a few on me at all times.

Now I am a very good vape addict and always have two or more batteries, 2 or more extra clearos and at least one replacement head with various small bottles of juice in my eGo zipper case. I also have all my juice and other stash of replacement stuff in a "grab and go" purse that can go in a minute. I do drive a truck for a living so I want it all with me at any given moment: chargers, batteries, cleaning solution and covered container for same, q-tips...you know what I'm talkin' about so why go on? :)

You have the right idea and are well on your way to success and so much enjoyment you will think your little taste buds have gone awakened (not died) and gone to heaven!

Another oft quoted truism around here: "It is not the cigarettes that you smoke, but the cigarettes that you do NOT smoke that matter." You are already a winner if you avoid even one cigarette, IMHO. cheers! :toast:

BTW, I use evods, MT3Ss, Pro Tanks, and Vision Victory bcc so I can't discuss the benefits of tanks. I am going to get a tank or three from Value Valley Vapers soon. I use a purse as noted so no pocket problems. I have heard of too many breaking in pockets. When I travel light (no purse) I just stick it in my bra when not vaping (which is not that often I must admit). I don't think you wear a bra either. The lanyards are not too bad and they fit most everything but I don't like things around my neck so that is out for me. They make a pocket clip for the clearos if that is a help.

If I were a guy, I would find a nice belt thingy of leather that maybe was made for a knife so it was long enough and have my eGo in there. Is that nerdy? I don't know, but I would do it cause I want my vape handy and protected! How about a nice shoulder holster for a small pistol? Now that is really nerdy!!! I tickled myself!

thanks for your reply glowplug :) they make clearoclips??? do you have a link? I didn't know that- that might work- still thinking about lanyard or something- I just tried an Evod twin from SMOK - first day or so it was great- now I am getting a funny taste-- think I'm going back to an Evod for a light day. Would love to know of a good higher capacity tank though for my eGo. Also gotta up to a basic VV 900mAh eGo. Still searching for the perfect daily flavor- I don't want cigarette like flavors. No need to remind me of what I am avoiding. Thanks again- anyone else with suggestions?
