Not sure where to post this, but has anyone else had their end caps seize in their GG and got them out? This has now happened on both my Grant and now my Trans. I'm not sure whether I should take pliars to this for fear of marking the device.. but am wondering what else I could try - my hands slip trying to unscrew the cap (the cap stuck is at the atty end on both GGs) . I need to get them out or I can't take the battery out of the Grant and my Trans is missfiring and needs cleaning in that area.. (sigh)
if you're gonna try pliers, use a cloth too. What about trying hot water first?
Just also had a thought, maybe you are really screwing your atties on a bit too hard in that you got this issue in the first place?
No need for screwing very hard anything on GG. You will not harm it but you make you life dificult Vaug.
As Lisa said, try to unscrew it with a plier but put a cloth on the cap first. This will not scratch GG.
