I might be adding a new ggts to my collection, I don't know if I want nickel though. I want aluminum

They are really collectors now the problem is getting one that's not had much use or been polished to high hell and back im lucky only #387 and #632 have been polished so much that the etching has wore a lot. the nickle ones are going to go the same way and become hard to get, i've been lucky to be in the right place at the right time with all mine.

Im actively trying to track that down as i know there's one in the UK there's also a super Nano and the early non locking Grant somewhere as well but they're keeping quiet.
Im also thinking of asking Perp if she'll part with her Nano with the double etching but i doubt she will ;)

imo, let perp have her nano, go after bigger fish. :w00t:

imeo once said that only one of the side button slims was ever made, but in another thread says there's two...so maybe. anyway, best of luck on the GGUK Museum; you're well on your way!

GG Euro Museum = GGEM
When does it open? I'd visit it, especially if it's gonna have a souvenir shop :)

The GGEM.
I like that and the souvenier shop works in reverse (you give me your GG ;) )

Here's how the GGEM's looking so far.

relative to the rarieties of course, there's plenty of handmade GGT's, first generation slims, nanos, even super nanos, and super slims to be had. some of that old stuff will really bring the museum to life. at this point though, getting them in quality condition, engraving in tact, proper caps, buttons, etc. is the hardest part. nice pics so far!

Thanks buGG
It is that also as maybe the case some people who have the handmades and rarities may have moved on and stopped vaping or just not use the main forums anymore.
im hoping that i can get emails of previous owners and then contact them direct.
As for restoring i can do pretty much most of it (as can be seen with #122) and i may be able to get the engraving re-done if need be in severe cases

wow............ How many GGs you got there...????

Upto 13 so far but im really trying to hunt down prototypes and rarities so won't be buying anymore Standard GGTS's. (for a while)
I still want some of the more common ones though the brass and straight ally GGTB and there are a load of slim variations plus i need some extension pieces.
My center piece has to be #2 from the first run and the AFS beta just behind it ;)

These are my only indulgence, i work for myself and like Imeo put a lot into my work so these are how i reward myself if i do well.

The time to get one of the legacy models is now as they will become harder to get and more collectible i've been lucky i hate to think howmuch i've spent over the last few months but when i look at the photos i've took i think yep that's worth it and they are all still 100% usable

UK. how do you keep the brass parts in such beautiful condition and shine. Please share you secret with us so we can maintain ours in that condition as well. =)
I think his secret is that he can levitate things with his mind so he does not touch them ;)
