Phi, that looks great....what thickness were you able to achieve with the plating? What do you mean by "Pure White Gold"?
Thanks D! :) I had this done at an industrial company. They said it is 50 millionths of an inch, so if I did the conversion correct, it's about 1.27 microns. They said with the latest materials used plating does not need to be as thick as it used to be back in the day to maintain it's durability and luster. Pure white gold is what its listed as in their code sheet, I was told its Rhodium. There's a 3 year guarantee, they have been in business for a long time now, but never had to do any guarantee rework jobs. I guess that says a lot..? Either way, I am extremely happy with it's looks and performance!

my fully gold plated ssggts + ufs in both 24k and pure white gold. Everything gold even internal springs...

Good info....thanks. I had a feeling it was Rhodium as there is no such thing as Pure White Gold. Pure Gold is....Gold. Rhodium is a VERY hard and durable metal; well suited for daily use. Pretty much all white gold jewelry is rhodium plated.

They did a great job and I'm glad they stand behind their work with a guarantee. Again, it looks AWESOME !
