It will take every size batt(cr2, cr123 and all the long life 3.7V).<=== Dumb moment alertsorry if you covered this imeo
So the Transformer will not take CR123(a) cells? The prospect of the protected button is swaying me to buy a GG but it would also mean I need to buy another charger and another load of cells, was hoping to use the stuff I have for the SD?

Who said no frog? Of course it will take cr123A, no problem![]()
Hi guys, I want to ask something
Do you want an e-cig that takes all kind of batteries without touching poles problems from
AA to 18650 (14250, 14500, 16340 16335, 17335 17650 18650)?
This is what confused me
This is fantastic news guys, thanks for the clarity. Looks like I am going to be getting a new GG then! It would be nice to have the 3.7 cells I have in the nano size and just add a few more 3.0v for doubling up, my ultrafire charger then will still have a use lol
Then I guess I will have an SD for sale![]()
Really? 2 of them? But probably the 3.0 volts to get to 6 volts then?
2 batteries at 3.6 volts would probably fry a few attys I'm sure.
Sorry, frog - maybe we can think of something to do with our 3.6 volts cr123 stock??
Got any ideas? Like a bonfire maybe hahaha!!
Hey Di!
Yeah sorry - it goes in fits and starts - I try to post whenever I can, but sometimes get a bit tied up 8-o lol
Always here in spirit though....![]()
Hi Tribal!
Unfortunately this is not possible, but really the 6V option for the grant is virtually the same as the Transformer, and I think Imeo found some CR2 batteries (3V) rated the same anyway (1000mah)...we'll have to ask him for the link.
The CR2's we sell are rated 800mah, so the difference is very small and with the Grant you of course benefit from a slimmer form.
So really the difference between the two models at 6V is very marginal if not identical (should you wish to purchase these higher rated CR2's) - where the larger Transformer wins is for the 3.7V lovers using the massive 18650 battery which will provide a couple of days runtime on 1 cell.![]()

For 6V 1000mah I saw some batteries in the past and forgot to ask for info.
Those are LC15266 ones and not the TR15270 we are using now but they have same diameter and are just 0.4mm "shorter".
So 2x3V would be same diameter and just maybe needing a 0.8mm spacer (and those of us who bought the 3.7V battery packs already have 5 x 1mm spacers so just one of them would work directly).
But would that be compatible / risk free ?
2 pcs of Li - ion CR2 1000mAh 3.0V Battery(CR2-1000) - CR2 & AA/AAA - Flashlights, Batteries and more - Quality China Goods
Wow great news so. And they link the same charger to use than the one we get from Tim in fact.Fred, there is no need for 0,8mm spacers either 1mm nor 2mm spacers because spring will accept those little diferences.
