GGTB w/ no engravings

Hey guys! I recently picked up a GGTB. The only engravings are on the bottom cap. GG obviously. I has a native 901 connection. I've researched the wiki a bit but am still unsure exactly what it's made of. My research leads me to think it's Alu but I'm trying to verify. Might anyone know?

Looks aluminum to me. Although your caps may be nickel plated.

I think I have the exact same GGTB. Mine turns dark after a few weeks of use. It seems the area where my fingers have been, turns a lot darker. I think I was told it's nickel. What do I know though.
