Hi Rip my friend. You said that AVS leaks when its not attached on the collector tank. Thats true. Never fill the AVS out of the collector tank because when you close the cap of the AVS the air pressure will push the liquid out of the AVS through the atty's hole. So you have to always keep AVS attached on GG when you refill.

But what I dont understand is why you dont have leakage inside CT when AVS is full and you have leakage inside CT when tank is half. Maybe the opossite had to be happened because when liquid is less then the pressure of it is less. Very strange. But its ok, thats why we have the collector tank there. We can avoid any leakage by any reason:)

what do you mean ??? more flavor, more vapor, or lighter draw ???

I never had leak issues or vapor issues ... My AFS V2 produces the same vapor as the AVS. Only difference is the AVS has a lighter draw ( without vasoline ) and gives me more flavor ... And on top of that I do find the AFS V2 has a warmer vapor than the AVS ... Could this mean I have a leak or something ....

I meant getting rid of leaking, visually the o-rings looked fine before the change, but the whole thing started working better (ie leaking less) after I'd changed them... this is for AFS v2

Weird I find the AVS has a tighter draw for me than the AFSv2... I do apply vaseline to both...

I also have a slight difference in distance from edges of the top ring when I put the atomiser in the AVS... nothing huge... the o-ring still fits in and everything seems to work alright...

not being very useful at all I guess...

Urb;
My AVS has alot lighter draw than my AFSv2, without the vasoline. But, like I said before my AFSv2 never leaked at all sooo no need for the new orings...

Urb; have you tried it without vasoline on the threads or the orings ???? I mean, when I tested it out with the vasoline. It had a really tight draw; even with the ADR wide open. After giving up on the vasoline idea, I boiled a nice cup of hot water and rinse everything out. To take the vasoline off the AVS. After drying and refilling the AVS was back to having a lighter draw...

Try it out if you havent already

Your juice isnt that thick compared to mine 60% VG / 40% PG

Ripp anytime you reclean everything I think it runs best buddy, however it is a know fact that keeping ORings lubed extends the life and makes them seat perfectly, I dont think thats the problem here, just my $0.02
I know that bro but orings are less than $5 bucks for the set ... I figure these orings should last along time ... You figure when was the last time you switch your orings on your injectors or even the oring on your oil pan drain plug... Practically the same material except Imeo's orings are food specs... It should at the worst case senario last half that of a automotive oring. And the automotive oring see more heat, abuse and dirty these things do ...

check if there is a cut or a hole between AVS and its threads. Also look if threads are moving against the AVS

Not entirely sure what you mean, but all the threads look ok to me? Maybe I need new o-rings? The threads are sharp/rough, I vaseline them (avs only, noalox on ggts proper) and they seem to thread ok.

What size o-rings do I need?

I'd have too double check, this... I'm at work and the tank is full of juice and I dont have anything to keep the juice in for now... I'll check it when I get home...

Hey Hopefull;

Totally forgot about checking this ... And its not thicker; just one side is kinda super thin... But not overly thicker than the other size like on the picture...
