I use AW with twisted. The flavor is awesome. But the coil itself seems to "die" faster. Then you change or clean.

Ah nice... once I get my penny I will be able to experiment with coils more. As of now I only have an Ody so I don't want it out of commission long because then I can't vape it!
Also, I've never been able to clean a wick properly yet.. I don't know how people do it.. mine always ends up tasting terrible after.. I've tried various ways.. Silica rope from CoV

5 sec of dry burn while you blow air hard on it sub. It always works for me and for others too
I will have to try it again imeo, thanks. Is it supposed to remove all the gunk? How many times do you do the 5 second dry burn?
Yeah I'll definitely have to try it again.. maybe I just burned it too much.. I tried it a few times and it was just so gross after :X
if you do it with liquid on it then the burned liquid will start smelling bad sub. My suggestion is to put a paper towel on the wick and let it absorb any liquid there. Then start the burning proccess by 5 secs per time. Dont forget to blow air hard while you do the burning.

subver I think you vape Boba's Bounty right? With Boba's dry burning is just a pain. I dunno what they have in that liquid but the gunk is hard to remove and tastes and smells bad when there is buildup especially when you have a fat wick.
Yup I vape bobas... That might explain why I've been having trouble dry burning!! I just ordered a 4 sample pack from indigo vapor because im looking for another juice... I've been vaping bobas for a year straight and need to try some other juices. I still will only have an ody, a penny and cartos, but maybe I can setup a test coil to try flavors on...

I too vape Boba's. and there is no way I can dry burn that coil. When it goes south, it just needs changing.
I too vape a lot of Boba's and find that I can only get 3 to 5 days out of a coil, usually I'm changing it at 4 days. Tried dy burning it but found that it was not worth it. I also vape Casablanca and I get 3 to 4 weeks on those coils, I don't bother to dry burn those either, just easier to make new ones.
I don't know what's in boba's. but it's been brutal on ANYthing I vaped it on. Even way back when I was a carto user. I find that really thick vg is the toughest. Our DIY is really a ton of vg.
Yeah the new juices I ordered I think are 50/50 which I'm pretty excited for, especially because PG has more throat hit and I'm pretty much just used to 100% VG Boba's.. and I'm always looking for more throat hit! Hopefully I fall in love with one of the juices... would be nice to change it up for once!
Man dont get your hopes high, I tried changing boba for 1.5 years. Always going back to it. On the bright side, boba users should be the best coilers out there
Yeah that's what I currently do. Throat hit is great, my main problem really is when I get used to the vapor from vaping so much! In the morning throat hit is very strong, but as I vape more and more it lessens. If I stop vaping for a while it will come back but for only a little bit. I don't really think there is much I can do about that, though...
when you get used to throat hit, put 6 volts on GG sub. No worries about burn taste. I do that all the time

Subver that's very weird. I vape boba's at 12 mg, and I am a chain vaper (vape at work non stop) and I never had this issue with throat hit. Do you notice difference in heat or vapor or is it just throat hit?
