I was able to find a spring at home depot that fit while I ordered replacements. I had to buy a big bag and only found 1 that fit.
Also, I learned that unless I take a wrench to the screw (bottom side of button) I would keep unscrewing the button when locking.

Thanks, but since I am not in the US, I would appreciate an online source for the spring. I'm in panic mode now... How can a round button be tightened with a wrench?
You can temporarily use a pen spring.

I used pliers on the hex head on the bottom of the button, not the shiny round button itself.

there is a great video that someone linked yesterday somewhere.
you use a 10mm socket on the outside, and a 6mm on the inside to hold it and tighten it. I wish I could find it for you.

Thanks. I watched that video but the button there is not round like mine but a hexagon.
there should still be a correct tool to help you accomplish the same thing. I would think

just tighten it by hand and using (for example) rubber gloves to hold it, it doesn't have to be so tight. I do it that way and have never had any problem (better than the risk of scratch or damage something - or the need of use tools if someday you want to unassemble it).
For that kind of tasks, I use a pair of gardener's rubber gloves:

Oh yeah, I only use those gloves when vaping my precious GGs -to prevent some damage you know-
Ros, before I send GGTS to my sellers I said on forum that I will not tight buttons so people can tight them as much as they want. So, keep the polygonal pin with pliers and put gloves that ariel said to tight the head
what ? you thought you where the only one ? lol, on the other hand I'm new here , stopped smoking only recently . couldn't help not ordering some GG stuff and from the look of things IMEO is hands on , products with great support adds piece of mind to anyone buying . That's a sell in my book
