Which part of Kansas are you from? I'm originally from upstate NY, but have been here for many years.

NY to KS. That has to be a culture shock, LOL. I'm from Hazelton - poulation 100 would be stretching it. Wichita was the 'big city'. Then on to Overland Park in the KC area. Haven't been back since we moved when I was 10.

Big time culture shock, and even though I was a kid when we first came here, I never quite acclimated, although when I lived up in Abilene I did get to appreciate both the quiet and being able to see the stars.

Unfamiliar with Hazelton, but have a friend up in Overland Park. Never actually been there, though (may have driven through it).
