So I just started vaping and I got myself a E-Power eGo 18650. She likes it but says it is a little to big for her. She wants something a little thin...but wants to be able to see her liquid. I'm thinking about going with an eGo Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank kit that madvapes.com has.

She likes the fact that it comes with a carrying case and a tank. My only worries is that it only has 6 reviews and I can't seem to find any vids or other reviews.

Being that I just started and do not want to buy something that is not good...I need to know if it is decent or should I go with something else.

I am new to the ecf however I have been vaping since 2009 and keep up on everything mainly through youtube. If I am not mistaken the kit that madvapes sells is an ego battery along with the dual coil tank which sounds like what she wants. I have ordered many things from madvapes and have never been disappointed with them or their products.

The one thing I do know about the tanks they sell, which is manufactured by smoketech, is that they can be very slidy. What I mean by this is that the tank can slide of the cartomizer very easily so my suggestion would be to get a drip tip that will make it harder for that to happen or possibly look into a tank from somewhere else if price is not a problem.

Ego batteries are fine, it won't perform as well or as long as your e-power, but it is still a large step above anything smaller than it. I love cartomizer tanks, but be aware that the pre-pierced cartos have a tiny hole that really only feeds pure PG liquids well. If you use thicker liquid you may find you have to thin it out with some distilled water or pure grain alchohol/vodka to keep it feeding right, that or make the hole bigger/add an extra hole. I've had to thin out liquids with as little as 30% VG depending on the flavor. Good luck!

They make a smaller, thinner e-Power. It takes a 16450 battery, which is still good sized, but more "petite". Kits usuall includ a case, or you can buy an eGo case for about $10.

An eGo T type is a PITA for a lot of people. Fiddly and leaky. Don't go there. If she likes to see the juice, try a Stardust or any one of the decent tanks (not the slidy, top-heavy DCT). Also, check out the Vision Stone. It's a good size and less hassle than a carto type of tank. Gotvapes carries the Stardust and Vision stone, and some other Clearomizers that work well on eGo type PVs.

If a 16450 e-power is still to big, look at a kGo. They do everything useful that any eGo does, and you can also get them in colors, like pink if she's a girly girl type of girl.

Forgot to add this before I posted the reply. I have a few tanks myself and some I like and some I dont. The ones that I can recommend from personal experience are J-tanks from electronicstix.com and the tanks at bigdaddyvapor.com. These tanks make a tight seal around the cartomizer and I never have had any issues with them sliding off.

Just as a side note, going with the ego battery I feel is a good choice. I have a Provari, Saber Touch, and an SVR yet I still use ego batteries all the time.

Hope this helps!!

That looks like a pretty decent kit. There are a lot of people here that like 1.5 ohm DCC on an eGo battery. Just keep in mind that eGo's provide less voltage than your ePower (3.2-3.4V). Also, IMO, DCC's are better suited for 5V or above. For an eGo battery I would replace the DCC with a Smoktech 1.7 ohm single coil carto also available at MadVapes.

If for some reason she decides to switch to carts or clearomizers (my fave) everything else in the ego kit will work with them, and they are an inexpensive addition. You might even order the kit and add on a couple of different carts or clearomizers to try in the same order. 5 bucks or so to add a clearomizer to try.

That's the kit I got when I went to eGos. I recommend it.
