I think my experience is a bit unusual, but I don't know. After smoking a pack or two a day for over 40 years I just figured I was hooked. I tried the patch which certainly helped on long plane flights but it was very $$$,
no fun, and I still smoked, just less.
After some nagging from my doctor I tried Chantix which I hated but stuck it out. Of course I was still smoking, just less, and felt lousy. Also this was very $$$.

I tried e cigs on a lark, maybe I would smoke less and use the e cigs in no smoking situations, which seems to be in more places every day.

Here is what happened:As soon as I tried my mini-cig I liked it about 5 times more than smoking. It was so SMOOTH and tasty. So far I am really happy with this, if I don't like it or run out I can always find tobacco!

For me, so far, I have accidently quit smoking.

P.S. I cannot find my cough, but I don't really miss it.
