Glass, plastic, carto, wicked so confused

Hi all, I have been researching different tanks for a few days now. It has gotten really confusing during this. I have a YJ LavaTube which I believe is 510 threads. I have used clearo type tanks, vivi nova tanks (all which are wicked). I am looking for a tank that I can use any juice in. I know that comes down to glass or metal, I perfer glass. Do I look for something with caps and orings, or grommets? Which is better. How are carts versus wicking. Are there glass tanks with rebuildable heads that use wicking? How long do the carts last?

Personally I prefer the glass tanks as Im really sensitive to plastic and metal tastes. From everything Ive heard Id go with the caps as they are more durable and also easier to insert the cartos into. You can get caps maid from stainless steel that will probably last 50 years or more.

Once you prime the cartos right and choose the right amount of holes for your juice theyre just as goood and sometimes better IMO than clearos.

You can get anywhere from 2 weeks to a month on average from a good cartomizer

What kind of juice do you use?

I have been using a cherry menthol which damaged my tank. I am sampling alot of juices now (just received 38 samples in) so its hard to say one kind of juice. I do perfer glass tanks.

What pg /vg blend do you prefer? Reason Im asking is because clearo tanks dont wick thicker vg liquids very well, so if youre using high vg belnds and switch to a carto tank you'll see a noticeable difference in flavor.

I have been going with a 50/50 mix, I can alter if needed. I have been playing around with diy juices also. I know my clero tank did crack after using a cherry- menthol mix, also sometimes I do chain vape. I do have a vivi nova (metal tank) but can't see how much is left and that is a wick set up.
