Way to go Count Jr!

Yesterday, I was so busy; I forgot to post an update on my visit with the ENT. I really liked him. :thumb:

He will be the doc I deal with for any sinus/ear issues going forward. Score! What I have now is clearing, so we agreed no anti-biotic. Next time there is flair up, all I have to do is email him and he will prescribe an anti-biotic, saving me an off visit and co-pay. He will monitor my progress. If there is a second flair up, he will prescribe another course of anti-biotics. After that infection clears, I will have a CT of my sinuses.
He asked if I quit smoking and I told him yes, along with the date. (My PCP did not update my chart. :-x) I did not bring up vaping because of the past arguments I had with my previous PCP. I just couldn’t bear another uneducated medical professional spewing propaganda! Moving forward, I will mention it and see what he says.

As for the Vertigo, I may need a stapedectomy because I have otosclerosis. Hearing test first, then we'll go from there.

So glad to hear that things are in the right track. I saw an ENT for a while... or to use the long form, Otolaryngolotist. He ended up giving me a septiplasty. I breathe easier, but had complications, so...

Now I've got a PCP that I really like because he listens and does not assume I'm an idiot, and a neurologist that I really like (but that could just be because she's cute and exotic).
