Almost time for work...I just tried 2 of my "cleaned" clearos. I can't believe that it actually worked - for a moment. The 1st one was actually goin good - no plastic taste then all of a sudden it stopped firing, I check the pin, put it back on my itaste and nothing. Check the resistance and I get NON..lol. What a PITA for a piece of junk!

Ooh well filled another one so far so good...looks like the dish soap and boiling water got rid of the nasty plastic taste but I will NEVER go cheap again.

Lesson CERTAINLY learned ;)

Good morning, Tree Peeps!

Blood pizza? That was terrible, I'm sorry. And, I'm sorry. :nun:

What can I say, blood sausage is very popular in this part of the world! (I'm kidding, of course. Not about blood sausage being popular--it is very popular, although I refuse to eat it.).

I think I probably was in a bit of shock last when I was feeling no pain--it definitely hurts this morning!

I hope everyone has a great day.

It's been a while since I've been able to get two posts in before noon!

I'm trying to get some reading done before I go teach. Ah, yes, it's public speaking day. . .

Completely unrelated to vaping in general, or The vape Tree in particular. . . one of the first things that I ask my students on the first day of a public speaking class is "How many of you have anxiety about standing in front of a group and delivering a speech?" Very few people raise their hands--but only because they don't want to admit it. I then point out that, when people are surveyed about their greatest fears, public speaking is consistently toward the top of the list (this helps make them less self conscious about it). Anyway, I just wanted to say that if you have a fear of public speaking. . . you're in excellent company! (Actually, most of my students speak English as their second language--this just makes it even harder for them!)

Good mornin Treefam!

i feel like i was just here. wednesdays are my least favorite of all weekly occurrences.

finally/hopefully picking up my stage today!! not sure if i had mentioned it previously, but i recently purchased a 47th hand wooden stage that i intend to use at some of my events. it is heavy, and sturdy and appears well built. it was in an art gallery / youth center / anarchist club / backyard burlesque / and many other spaces over the last few years.
the current owner is moving and sold it to me for $50, which includes access to a truck to haul it home. a steal!!
i have used many creative methods in the past for creating an elevated platform for my djs to play on. having the djs elevated, and not just playing on a table, adds production value and makes the performer more significant and a focal point.
the stage will live in my backyard, only to be moved for parties and poor weather.

#5 LD, I don't think I've heard of any of those names! The names sound cool though. Good night all.:vapor:
some are newer acts, getting big in the last 1-3 years, while the most desirable (imo) are the veterans that are still fresh and selling out crowds after 10-15 years
you should pick 3 at random and search for their soundclouds. all these cats are at the top of their game, and while i may not every style played, i can groove to any of em

#2?

vape stuffs...... vape stuffs....... where for art thou vape stuffsssssss?

lately i have been focused on dripping the last few MLs out of ALL my bottles that have under 5ml.
this has been a daunting, and at times disgusting and at times wonderfully surprising and at times sad, as i may never try this one or that one again.

cleared a good 15-20 bottles out of my 'vape stuffs' in the last week or so. still got a few left to finish off.
my goal is to get my juice bottles to a manageable and accessible and organized state.

additionally, i am also trying to finish off all my RTAs at the same time, so i can have a massive build sess tomorrow morning at my desk :)
