I'm struggling with my eVic tonight. Some of you might remember that I found it very confusing when I first got it. After I figured it out, though, I've really come to like it. I particularly like it with my Russians and Kayfun. The one thing that I don't like is the software. I'm sure it's really quite simple, but I seriously can't understand the English. I've never understood why Chinese companies (and it's usually Chinese companies) can't find someone actually fluent in English to translate software (and instruction manuals). Seriously, I think that they would have better translations by running things through Google Translate!
Okay, there's one other thing I don't like. If one swaps out the battery, rather than just plugging it in to charge, all the settings get lost. That drives me nuts.
Yes, I like the eVic. Honestly, knowing what I now know (and based on my experience with it), I wouldn't buy another. (The same is true of my VTR--I can't get used to the weight of the VTR. And, I can't put it in my pocket because it literally pulls my pants down!)
