GMO, having trouble finding words... just so happy for you. Just don't overdo and get a sore on your stump. I bet is is absolutely wonderful to be up off yer bum after so long.

Hubby made it home about 10 last night. He leaves again Saturday for a trip north. He killed one battery but had a spare, when he travels like this I always make sure he has spares and spare spares but everything worked good for him and that is a relief.

Here are my first steps as an independent prosthesis wearer. Now, of course, the REAL work begins!! Actually learning to use this contraption. I'm, hopefully, in the next week or so going back into Rehab for their expert guidance.

It's been a long 3 and 1/2 months getting to this point. Thank God that I've had the support of my Partner, Family and Friends, including all the Tree People. I never could have gotten here without you all! (And a special mention to Uncle!)

.

WALKING! ;) RIGHT ON! WAY TO GO, GMO!

1. :toast: Congrats OptimusPrimerib! :toast:

GMO, sorry i didnt get back to you yesterday. Ill hit ya up today :)

one of my (actually me EXs) cats peed in the house this morning. i couldnt find it. but now i smell it everywhere. i think its stuck in my nostrils. it is so gross.
i kinda wanna get rid of the cats. i have always had cats, and enjoy them. but these creatures arent mine. and they create more mess than joy at this point....

As many cats as I have had over my adult years, I've never had one pee anywhere other than their litter box. I guess I'm the exception rather than the rule!

Hit me up anytime you like, my friend. I actually have no appointments today. Strange!

There will be more progress videos as soon as I make progress! LOL

Cats... I've had them all my life, as well. The only time I've had them pee where they aren't supposed to is if they are un-neutered males (spraying) or they are sick.... or the rare instance when I've forgotten to clean the litterbox

When I was growing up, we once had fifteen cats. They had become semi-feral when remodeling of our house drove a pregnant female cat to have her litter in the empty canyon next door. So the cats would hang around our yard, eat the food, and sleep on the patio furniture. On cold nights (for southern California), they'd all sleep together in on one chair--when they heard a noise in the kitchen, all of these heads would pop up from a giant mass of fur...LOL.
