1. Well I got some shocking news late tonight/last night. I can't sleep now. No one to talk to about it besides my daughter and husband because my mom and sister lives 500 miles away and were sleeping when I called and didn't answer the phone.

I got a facebook message tonight that I have another grandson I had no idea about. Not wanting to air too much dirty laundry online... but my son is unavailable and can only be reached through mail.. So I can't even talk to him about it. He has a son with a girl no one knew about he was seeing before he went away.

The girl messages me on facebook tonight and asked if I was kin to him, and said she had gotten pregnant right before he went away and had lost touch with him and was trying to find him to let him know the baby had been born. She sent me pictures and he looks just like my son when he was born. I started crying, I had no idea! So now I have a 5 week old, 9 month old and 2 year old grandsons!

I'm shocked, but so happy too. Mad and disappointed that my son hasn't said a word about the possibility. Left to try to clean up his mess, tell his fiance that he got another girl pregnant and deal with all this. New grandson lives 11 hours away so I have no idea if and when I'll be able to see him.

Gah.. I feel like I shouldn't be putting this here, but I needed to get it out. Hope you all don't mind!

@ "bellastarr" - While the main purpose of this thread is for a contest and to help promote "The Vape Tree" - THANKFULLY that is not the only thing that "Our" Host "GMO" allows "Us" to do . . . "GMO" has carried on the special tradition of creating a safe place for "US" to share with one another those things that happen throughout the day and in "Our" lives . . . So - "Tree-Peeps" should always feel like they can post whatever is happening - be it GREAT NEWS or BAD - Or even just mundane everyday activities (that is one of the reasons why there is a "Substance" ) . . .

AND - That's one of the best things about being here, "We" support and encourage each other or just provide an ear/shoulder for one another too, even if people do not reply to each and every post - sometimes it is someone that will "like" a post even if they do not think it is "likable" to let Ya' know "You" have been heard and are sending "GOOD VIBES" Your way too . . .

Uncle, you are SO right! I view this thread as a place for all the Tree People to be able to share there lives... be it positive OR negative. I, myself, frequently need a place to "vent" and I don't hesitate to do it.. neither should anyone else!

5. Went to the grocery store to pick up one thing.. spent almost $100. Never go to the store hungry!

That has happened to me far too many times! That is why I make sure I eat something before, or even while I'm in the store , and I always take a list!

I just learned a few of years ago (via FB) that "My" little brother actually had a daughter over 20 years ago and she has another 4 children (SO he became a Grandfather before he was 35 ). . . AND - That was just after I learned one of "My" Great Nieces got married and had a son too . . . Also - That one of "My" other Nephews got engaged to his long time girlfriend a couple of years ago too . . . Matter of fact, "My" Best friend learn his father was actually a polygamist and he has a sister when he was researching his family history on the Internet after he thought his last family member died 3 years ago . . .

It is absolutely amazing what "You" can learn from social media that "YOUR" Family never tells Ya' . . .

Not your place to deal with this. Contact son... let him contact her. Paternity tests need to be done and all sorts of things. You seem to have the cart before the horse... let son deal with this and you need to just leave all the fiance stuff to your son.

SO DITTO ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ He NEEDS to become an Adult . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Good morning, Treefam. Wow... news... early.... Best wishes, bellastar! I agree with the Joan, though: it's all on your son. But don't get "mad and disappointed" at him until you know the whole story.

I frequently find myself "liking" posts that I really want to just "acknowledge".
Sometimes, it's important to know that your friends know about a situation and you have had a chance to just vent about it.

All too frequently in my life, I've had loved ones handle a situation for me and, as a result, I didn't learn or grow from the experience.

Wow, lot going on with the treefam today. I'll have to spend some time this weekend catching up. Good thoughts go out to those who's world feels a little shaky right now. remember the strongest trees are those that bend when things are hurled at them.

I seem to get stuff done at times and not realize I did. Laundry is done and managed to get the refrigerator cleaned out. Ate all the leftovers that weren't a new life-form, got a bunch of bottles washed and off the kitchen counter and straightened the vape drawers. Still have to do the pharmacy thing for the old people and hopefully pick up my car with a new inspection sticker and figure out what to feed the hubby for supper. Most of the foods I like, he won't eat and he doesn't cook. He eats peanut butter so he won't starve...

Thanks Uncle....sometimes when I am not quite awake I don't think my fingers do what my brain wants them to do.....so in case I have to change what I say I always like to "CMA"....I reread what I did type and I guess it did sound good and clear.....

3. I'm still foggy brained, didn't get much sleep last night.
I just want y'all to know I've read all your comments and they mean a lot to me, and helped put some things into perspective for me.

I wrote a letter to my son this morning.. wouldn't you know the mailman came before I woke up today, usually comes much later... gotta make a trip to the post office later today.

On a lighter, more happier note... I got vapemail today! I won a contest and picked a vision spinner vv 1100 mah battery. It's an upgrade from my little 650mah ego I've been using. I'm loving the variable voltage on it! I've been vaping like crazy this morning. Also got a new juice to try out.

Going to drink some more coffee and run some errands. Have a great day everyone.

Lol! I remember that! Or how about please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery! When I was a kid I ordered a bionic ear from Edmund-Sci, and it took so long to arrive I forgot about it... LoL the good-old-days!
