My injections I had Friday did something,.. But it seems to be getting worse. Sorry treefam just had to vent a lil
..that's what we're here for,Slo ..a safe place to vent...Having only been thru one (and THAT was somethin... ) I know those epi's are a delicate procedure...When it comes to needles, I've had particularly bad luck with dental numbing procedures...just wanting you to know I understand and pray for a speedy resolution to make it right :nun:
@Uncle...a safe place to vent ..of course , that does not make you immune to Uncle's teasing  ...channeling my lil bro now...I think his reply would be .." *grin* ..Phffffff...I don't need no stinkin setting up *grumble* *grumble* *grin* ".. :D

@jpf880 :nun: for you and Wifey
Morns are gettin cooler....Almost time for a relaxing soak in my redneck jacuzzi. Best to test the water first before jumping in....the Source water being piped in comes off of a 130* natural hot spring...the old timers used the main hot spring to scald the hide off their pigs after slaughter.

ooo..gonna be one of those days where I get all my posts in b4 noon! :w00t:
Again - Personal opinion and from a professional perspective as a counselor in the field of "Human Behaviour Modification" - The worse thing is the both the emotional and psychological manipulation of people in more ways then one . . . :2c: . . .
..and your professional insight is much appreciated . Yes, at least for me...the more time and energy I put into those things, the more I tend to feel that sense of having wasted my time and energy when I don't win. Sour grapes, yes..I've always been very competitive...(it's that having 2 brothers .)....and YES...I DO like to see my friends winning, even if I DON'T.....just sayin...I am alot happier giving WHAT I CAN..WHEN I want to....and lettin the cow chips fall where they may :thumb: . The clincher lesson for me was in throwing lots of time and energy into one particular one and coming up empty handed....it's different with fishin..at least you get the fresh air...and the "nibbles". I'll take my chances with Luck...which I'm much luckier at;)

Another one of my fav "hot" spots ..a person, 'stead of a tree this time;) There used to be a Hot Spring resort and hotel on the site in the early early 1900's..yes..in the middle of nowhere...folks would come from far away by stagecoach to bathe in the healing hot waters....Then the hotel was leveled and the cow ranchers took over....and built these troughs for their cattle...one trough is too hot...the other, jst right for hot tubbing....No that is NOT me....but I think that might be my fav pair of shorts and towel I left there from my last visit o_O

Well, @tiggerrts, it looks as though you won the betting Pool as I fell off the not-buying-vape-gear wagon last night. I made the original statement August 19, and it's September 15... 12 and 15 makes 27... what type of devices do you like, and PM your address.

However, I fell off said wagon for good cause... 2 good causes... 1) I was hoping @jpf880 would be closest and I could PIF him a replacement mod, AND 2) our family nearly SWEPT the broom contest taking 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and People's Choice. That means a lot of prize money.

I bought a Goblin Mini, a Goliath V2, a Velocity, RBA decks (single and dual) for the TFV4 and the Atlantis and the Subtank Mini, a 5 pack of topcaps for the Fishbone, and a bunch of drip tips.

I also need @jpf880 to PM me because I'm still PIF'ing a mod your way... I'm sending you a mech, so you'll always have a backup without the worries of a circuit board frying.

4. Just got shipping notification for a contest I won on Facebook...my first time I've ever won anything there and I've entered tons! I won a Subox Nano kit...not keeping it though. I'm PIFing it to a friend so he can give it to his wife...although I told him that if they did send the purple one I had originally said I wanted then all bets were off!:p...According to them it's the black one though so he should be good. :D

@Shawn Hoefer - my faith has fallen... :( I would have sworn you had more will power (or is it "won't" power?) Oh well... :) soldier on...

Now, a question in general for those of you who have more vape knowledge than I have acquired in the past three months I have been puffing. Since receiving this TC40W iStick, I have been trying to study TC and the various requirements (in the mean time, I am using it the same way as the iStick30). I know I need a tank with a special kind of coil material, but there seem to be a bunch of them out there and, often, the descriptions of them on various vendors' web sites makes me doubt what I thought I had already learned. Did that make sense? In any case, what is the best "starter" tank for a TC application (looking for cheap but functional)? Anyone here have any clues?

Wish I still had it in me to climb things like that. Spearfish Canyon would be a place to hang out a lot more often if this tired old body worked better.

Sorry 'bout that Fuzzy.

As I see it, the best TC rank might be the one you have. What are you using now? There's a possibility that you can get nickel coil heads for it.

IF for some reason you cannot use your existing tank, OR if for some reason I'm sure I could NEVER understand you simply wanted another tank, the question becomes "where are you going from here?" If you're perfectly happy with relatively low wattage/higher ohm vaping, then the Eleaf GS Air tank that was designed for the iStick TC40W is a good, inexpensive choice. If you're looking to future-proof yourself, the there aren't many tanks I like better than the Kanger Subtank Mini.

I have a few, like Aspire glass, and some cheap plastic things that came with the beginner ecig, but a couple KangerTech ProTank-II, which I like best. At the moment, they have simple BHC single coils at 1.8 Ohms (standard Kanger atomizers). If I could keep those tanks and just find the right coil/atomizer to fit them and be TC compatible, that would be the Cat's Meow. ;)
