I would guess, from your aftermath, that they did not have the sonic disrupter frequency or pulse rate high enough to turn all the stones to "sand," instead leaving you with a bunch of "COPYRIGHTDMCA" that you had to pass. Most of the pain with kidney stones is not actually in the kidney, but at the start of the ureter when the kidney tries to pass a stone that is too big to get through that channel. Your residual COPYRIGHTDMCA, no doubt, still gave you sufficient scratching to irritate you. They practically set off an atom bomb inside me and totally pulverized everything in a one-foot diameter circle. That should have been restricted to a couple inches, but they were idiots and I had to pay the price of their incompetence.

Hey Mac - funny thought here... did you remember to turn the gas valve/spigot on the bottom of the tank so it could flow to the carb? I actually did that in a race once... pulled into the refueling area after doing half the course (100 miles of cross country from desert sand to snow and back through lava canyons). I was expecting my wife (at that time, not the current one) to be at the start-finish line and bring me the gas can. I didn't see her right away, so I killed the engine and turned the valve off so I could pour the gas in a rush, knowing the engine was hot as hell because I had just finished 50 gruesome miles wound tight. Instead, Team Husqvarna saw what I was racing and my team color clothing (even though I wasn't officially a team member), grabbed the can from her, filled me up, slapped me on the back, I kicked it to life and made it about half a mile before it died - I hadn't turned the spigot back on. Sigh...

Well, bed time for Bonzo. Catch y'all on the flip side.

Yep, turned on (was checked many times). Tried blowing into the tank to create pressure to force it down the line - didn't do the trick. Going to squirt a little gas into the carb to get it going. Gotta get it to fire so a good vacuum gets pulled to keep drawing the gas in.

Don't forget the old "running a wire up the tube to clear out gunk" technique. Could also be gunked up at the tank spigot...is it removable? Could even be junk in the valve depending on how long it sat and whether there is/was trash in the tank.

Anyway, I watched a movie last night with my nephew. It was 'Fun sized'.. I was pretty surprised by the amount of cussing, it says on the box it's a Nickelodeon film. What is this world coming to???
I was thinking the same thing.....I have over the past few weeks watched a few "kid" movies that I thought were "safe" and it was so disappointing....I would never allow a child of mine to watch them.....if not language then the graphic violence....I cant believe it...what are they wanting them to see & learn?....and why?...........there is no need for it......
Before 10 am? What are Fuzzy and I to do?
Well just because I am here doesn't mean you have to rush off....but it does mean it's almost time to get a move on......:ohmy::wub:

I don't think it's plugged or gunked up. Just over 3 months ago when I drained/ran it empty. Should just need to be primed. Can pull a hose if it comes to that but it's a pain to do.

Oh, don't worry. I won't be rushing off until I've finished a complicated logic statement. I probably have about an hour left before I head out for lunch...

Well I was sort of busy this morning.. But now it's slowed down a bit around here.

@Earthtograce what kind of mod did you get? I can't wait to get home and get mine... I was going to stop on my way to the doctors and get it but my coworkers are throwing me a little bridal shower at 2 so Im going to have to run straight to the doctors... But I called my kids and had them grab my stuff out the mailbox already so it wouldn't get so hot (I ordered batteries too)

Hope everyone is enjoying their day

Rest assured I am never in a hurry to rush you & Fuzzy off....some days I just can't sleep in......and this is one of those...I had some calls to make earlier and the idiot is here with his blowing noise maker.........so there is no sleeping for anyone around here this morning.........
We have had some rain and cool days so I suppose the Universe thinks that I have had enough sleep for awhile........it decided to throw everything into this day at me........

@mac63 , I know how aggravating it can be, but dry storage isn't always a good thing. When I got ready to sell my old Shadow, it had been in storage for a year. I ended up having to tear down and clean the entire fuel system...carbs, lines, spigot, and tank. Afterwards, it ran so well I almost didn't sell it.

Hoping that getting gas in the carb will take care of it. It was basically sealed up after the draining and everything that I can see without tearing it apart is clean. After I get it to fire, I'm gonna run some seafoam thru it just in case.

Oh No... I'm late getting on here again and now I have to turn right around and get to work? Pffftttt... Well, at least it is cloudy and relatively cool today, so I should be able to get lots of weeds pulled before I get too sweaty. Them suckers are sure growing faster than I can keep up with them.
I would never allow a child of mine to watch them.....if not language then the graphic violence....I cant believe it...what are they wanting them to see & learn?....and why?...........there is no need for it......
Kinda like I said before, almost all the movies put out today (yes, even those aimed at children) are full of violence and profanity. To me, it seems like they are trying to teach everyone that you should cuss a lot, then kill somebody. BUT... Tell me (all of you; not just the Blue lady), what is a young person's favorite entertainment today (BESIDES facebook or other social media, which is already teaching them to NOT think for themselves)? Video games? I have not seen even one "popular" video game on the market (I, personally, truly lost interest back in the PacMan days) that does not involve getting your points by killing your opponent, or at the very least, blowing up some aliens or monsters. In other words, if you want to win, you have to kill. THAT is what the younger generations are being programmed to believe. And, what made this attitude? Do you think PacMan (which even back that far involved eating the bad guys) would even sell on today's market? There are no young people that want to play such a boring game. They want tons of action and computer graphics, the easiest of which seems to be extreme violence. Sigh...

(How about a rousing chorus of "Why can't we be friends?")... then again, even the Chub Chubs were violent...

I think Tiggs is referring to an incident in Texas yesterday...unless something else happened overnight.

Trying to plan a family camping trip...was thinking about Covington, LA and then we could just cross the bridge to rummage around New Orleans. Turns out that they are having the Pride parade there this week and my wife is scared that somebody may try to target the festivities and is afraid to go there now. :(

So sad.

I'll be headin' to SF next weekend for their Pride festivities AND my Bday! Admittedly, there will be some fear, where there hadn't been the last 31yrs.:-x

Mom and I went to a gas station/store that was the biggest I've ever seen, 92 gas pumps for cars and the store had a ton of Texas stuff in it. It had what looked like a deli counter but it was a jerkey counter. The name of the place is Buc-EE's.
Went to Wally World on the way home and I got enough to make 5 or 6 meals for supper this week so I know Mom will eat while I'm here.
