TIOA Sns9 eps 15: She shook a little, her head was hot, she had been thinking of too much. A cool waterfall fell on her head and it felt good. Her hair got wet and cold, it went down her shoulder and spine, she shivered. JPF pulled the blanket up closer to her, as Tiggs put a cloth wrapped around ice and saturated with water, over her head, he strung the water over her head many times, and got more water. Mac was using a straw and helping her to take cold sips of ice cold water, she sipped it rather fast and Mac asked for more.
Angel opened her eyes and looked at the
three of them. "Thank you, but I must get on that jet, please?" she begged and fell back down, she was so tired. She was starting to fade again. "Yes." "Yes." Yes." Angel smiled but was not sure why, she went back to sleep. She shivered, and JPF put another blanket on top of her. Tiggs went for more ice and water, Mac had already called for it and was becoming a little frustrated. Mac took the next bottle of fresh ice cold water and put a straw in it, he leaned close and started to make the cool fluid come out. Angel's tongue felt it, and she started to let the cool water in, she slept still, her shaking lessened. She started to come up into a comfortable position, she felt safe.
Angel slept on the floor, she was given water by Mac all the time. Tiggs, came back, not before admonishing the others for not bringing water or aid to Angel. She laid on the ground, her fever was pushing, and they were pushing back. "There appears to be so.m.e.th..i.ng." she heard as she fell back to sleep. "You know that the water system needs to be worked on?!?" asked a man that Angel knew was from the former King's family. "I am sure that it will be taken care of, the people and all the land and animals will have more than enough." The man looked at her sternly, he did not nod. "As you wish my lady." He bowed, but it was not civil. She shook, and turned; her body was cold again, she felt some type of weight, there was a nice warm feeling beneath her, she started to respond to it. It was nice.
The ocean breeze came up strong, the fresh morning air, blowing
through her hair. Angel stretched on the sand, it felt good to be there. She staying laying on the ground in the sand, and turned over on to her left shoulder and looked out into the ocean. "Mmmm." she thought as the sun came up and rested on her shoulders and chest. Angel relaxed and let the sun warm her up. She smiled in her dreams, and in real life.
"What are you doing, little lady?" asked Angel. "I am looking at the solar system, and universe. Angel, why did they think the sun rotated around the earth?" Angel paused, "Angel!" shouted Darlin, she was running with friends, playing soccer. Darlin ran forward fast, she was always above average. "My favorite is lilac." said Darlin softly to Angel. Angel curled up a little tighter, the heat pads along her body helped greatly. All the sound was turned off, and the others left the room as she was allowed to sleep. The rest of the passengers' of the boat were watching the events unfold on TV.
The BBC was on the television. "appears to be some kind of wall, and circular so far as we can tell. Yes it does appear to be circular." The older Scottish man kept reporting. "It looks as if there is cattle all sorts of birds and trees. Yes the wall is round and as we see more we see a better shape of it, there are people working in the fields below." A voice was heard through all stations, it did not take over but just spoke. "Good evening to you all. The people of the land, the building you no longer see. The people are here with me, we are showing them out city, our nation. They are safe, allow only the BBC helicopter to come forward, no others will be allowed." After a few moments as the other helicopters came forward a strong wind gust blew down on them all, pushing them down noticeably. They stopped and started to turn back as the BBC helicopter went forward.
"Yes, I see buildings, like those we would see today, but much smaller in scale. There are cattle, pigs, sheep. There are more fields between all of those, and oh look! There is another wall! I can start to see more fields, and workers, there seems to be a lot of activity below. The walls are impressive, very thick, but not high. There is another, wait, this one is much taller, we have to pick up our altitude. "You will go very high, straight up please." said the female voice. "Going up" said the pilot. The helicopter took an angle to get to a slow down adjust and then moving up, they gained speed and eventually got to the point of going straight up. "Thank you, and if you will please stop, above the main wall, and below the main tower." The pilot of the helicopter did so, and stood in the air waiting for instructions.
"Please put yourself, between the main tower and the sun." said the voice. The pilot started to move over. "Owe!" That is bright." said the reporter. "Okay slow down, and move back a little. It was hard to see, yes? Solar panels on all the buildings, the bigger the top a few more. The city, nation is powered by the sun. There are also wind farms in the fields, not as many. Oh let me show you." The vision to the world was a wave, TV's distorted, feeds failed. When it came back to some there were two or three, others saw six or seven. "What you also did not see it the town, city center, please come to the top and middle."
"As you come up, you will see a center that is mostly full of fruit trees, vines, and vegetables. There are roses and flowers around. Notice there is a spring in the center, it is being diverted to all, as best we can. The court is the center of the legal sections of the land as well as education, infrastructure. The very bright white buildings and all the design is from my grandmother, she saw how it should be built.
Your people are with me and very safe, eating and drinking water, we are showing them our land. If they choose to leave, they may do so. Notice the gates are open and some are already leaving. The reporter spoke. "It is amazing, there are seven walls, the outer most small and as it gets closer taller. The tower is above the rest, but not by much." Darlin spoke. "Yes, they call me queen, education, learning trades, eating, family; that is what we are. My grandmother Angel has been invited, she is the mind, and your older buildings have been saved, within our walls intact, as whole as they ever have been. We have all the technology you do, cell phones if they wish, laptops. We are not inferior, we only wish to live here, there are people with me you do not know. As the people of this land talk to yours, though many have left already, more are eager to learn how we work. You see our water system flows down, it irrigates all the crops and fields below, the animals are able to graze and eat freely. We of course use them, to breed and eat. They give us the fertilizer back."
Angel shook a little more, Mac made sure she had fluid going into her mouth. She let it go down her throat, it was nice and ice cold. Tiggs stopped letting water pour or drip over her, he let the cloth wrapped around ice to lay gently on Angel's forehead. She sighed in deep and rested well. Anjel was the first to come back in the door, she took one half step and dropped her bags. Anjel rushed forward and knelt down, before anyone could say a thing. Anjel put her left hand gently on Angel's head. "There is a little fever." JPF responded. "Yes, but much, much smaller, let her rest."
The theme is Roman Holiday and at least there's a pool, so I'm wearing a toga with swim trunks underneath. [emoji38]
