I'm confused, and you know me Jay - doesn't happen easily  , why would a drip tip be exclusive to GLV? Why headcap? Wouldn't these fit attys' sizes? Please explain. You know from our discussions I want glass drip tips!! My main concern is shatterproof glass.
Thanks!

Happy Friday to all!

He can custom make a design just for the GLV , not that I would be the only one to be able to use the idea...just a different looking one for the GLV only.

Neb... look at the image that i posted a couple posts up... i requested measurements from Jay because it appears the glass blower has brought the glass down over the atty and to the ring around the batt connection.

Also this is from the thread ive been following which i brought to jay attention earlier:

Thanks $hua, I did look at those threads and still don't completely follow. But, I will subscribe to them and follow them more closely. I am very interested in the concept but not sure why there is a need to cover the atty or how it could provide more vapor. Nonetheless, I remain open minded. It does seem that one would need several for different attys (there are times I use 801s, 901s and 510s - all 3.3 ohm on my 5V devices). If each is hand blown, I suspect these might get expensive fast.

But I applaud the thinking and will stay very hopeful! :toast:

Well, if your using multiple style atty's.. then it could get cumbersome.. and to be honest.. using it as a straight drip tip, i dont see how it could provide more vapor than a regular drip tip, othen than it covers the whole atty much like the cone on the eGo does.. and many swear that the cone give a better air flow...

now on the subject of using them as a cart.. obviously the benefit of "truer" flavor... and possibly less resistance from the sides of the glass cart vs. surface resistance of plastic.. thus making the juice easier to be drawn down the walls of the glass cart...

on the subject of an attached "side car" style bubbler.. well that would just be effing cool, regardless of functionality or practicality...

Sorry chief I deleted your post because i don't want to give that guy any recognition on my subforum. I will tell you that it is a complete rip off that comes with very cheap unprotected batteries, no vent hole, and is going to blow up in someones face on day. But yeah it's sad to see how people act when they think they can make quick money. He found out the hard way that it takes a lot more then to rip off someones idea to make it in this business. BTW its made out of the cheapest aluminum you can get as well.

Yay my first deleted post! Sorry didn't think about the fact that it could be advertising for him. But lets think about this, if someone is in the GLV forum and watches that video (not a good review) and buys a _______ over a GLV.....they have the problem not you! lol

It's Here!!!!!!!!

Haven't fired it up yet. Batteries on charger.

It looks awesome Jay. The difference in and out of the sunlight is very cool. :2cool:

Boy am I going to have a full vaping day today lol

Trying out the GLV2. Trying out my regular liquids to see the difference in taste between 3.7v and 5v. Trying out the GLV Signature liquids. And to top it off I got a box in today from Ms T. too with like 7 new flavors I haven't tried before.

p.s. that whole blown glass drip tip idea looks promising :thumb:

Well, a bit OT, and yet not, I have a Tornado (TW's eGo) and it was my first PV. The reason the cone improves draw on THAT device is specific to that device with a 510 atty on it. This particular combo, sans cone, allows too much airflow. The groves in the connector are deep, combine with the airflow holes on the atty and you get a lot of airflow. Put the cone on and it forces the airflow to only come down thru the tiny gap between the upper cone edge and the upper edge of the atty thereby restricting the airflow and improving it.

However, I sometimes use an LR 306 on my tornado batt sans cone, as that atty is too short to reach thru the cone. while the 306 has the same threads as 510 atty, the airflow is somehow different and the draw is awesome even without the cone.

All of my devices are native 510 and I use adapters for 901 and 801 attys. The adapters have adjustable airflow. 510 attys on my GLV need no airflow adjustment but can be slightly adjusted as the connection is strong enough to permit you to back-off or tighten the atty on the connector (changes airflow to some extent).

I remain very enthusiastic about a glass drip tip and possible cart. However, conceptually, I still have concerns about price and practicality (especially cleaning - some juices even a couple of drops can contaminate a new flavor if not cleaned out thoroughly). But, I am enthusiastic about the idea and remain very open - so sign me up for one! :p

Ok I don't know who came up with the idea that 3.7v with an LR atty simulates 5v but I can say that the hit I'm getting from the 5v GLV2, with a regular Joye510 atty with bridge and wick removed, is way above and beyond the hit I get from either 1.5 or 1.7 LR attys with the bridge and wick removed on 3.7v.

Been using it now for almost 2 hours with the AW 750mah batteries and will try the High Drain ones once these ones need a charge. So far it works great and the hit is awesome. I usually take about a 10 second drag, direct inhale, and with this I think I'm down to about a 5 second drag. :smokie:

so you love it... awesome... i knew you would... im happy for ya thy...

oh yeah definitely. so far so good.

The first atty I put on it was my "breakfast" atty. That is the very first 510 atty I ever got and has been in use since Xmas. It has been needing a bit of a cleaning but I've been to lazy to do it since it has still been performing okay but not great. Tossed it on the GLV and that sucker is glowing like crazy after just a few seconds of dry burn and performing great again. :thumb:

After our talk the other day, I was very excited to see that glass tip. I have the same concerns as you, and i cant wait to have one in my hands.

I am going to send him a GLV in exchange for a few tips. Ill make sure to keep you posted. BTW great find $hua!
