no its not a sticker , its the real deal ,..all wood. He forms the wood around the GLV with steam ..maybe elfin magic ..not sure. I seen the one he had at the MI vape thing, an it was real nice. He cuts the wood out by hand and pieces it all together like that. its in the mail on the way to me tomorrow so ill post some pics after i put a button in .

wonder what could be done to the caps of a unit wearing one of these wood overlays.. to make it.. well match.

afterthought: does this guy have any dark woods? or stained dark woods?

OMG LOOK AT THIS!!!!! It's mine so back off !!..lol. Okay so here's the deal. I'm going to get this going ASAP for those who want one. I am not the craftsmen who made this fine piece of art, but he lives in Michigan, and is going to do this finish just for the GLV family if we can keep him in business. Its a hand made wood wrap that goes around the body tube. He told me that he can do some custom stuff, and every one will be a one of a kind. Ill have more details soon.

If there's going to be a decent demand for this sort of thing we'll need to iron out a few details on things like what I'll offer design wise, how we'll manage orders and pricing. I'll keep the price as reasonable as possible. It's not a sticker so it's somewhat limited in the detail that can be achieved. Those things are pretty small too. The flat veneer is 2 9/16" X 2 13/16". That's a tiny window to work in.

As far as how I wrap them around the body goes, Jay is right. Steam and elven magic. It must be done in a hollow tree.
Really hoping a lot of people want these. I love making them.
