I need to see what you all think about the V3. Do you want a box mod with all the bells and bling, or do you want a good looking tough box mod?

Option #1
Because of my design, a GLV 3 with all the voltage , passthrough ,and charger options the price would be in the $180-190 range. the shop can only make one per hour, and that dont account for the time it will take me to put them together..powder coat, electronics..bla bla bla.. you get the point lol.

Option #2
I can get rid of all the bells and bling, witch will bring the price down. the v3 would still be a juice fed mod. It would be smaller, made out of the same metal and components that the V2 is made of , and will be just as tough. You would be able to change voltage , just not from a switch outside the box.

I forgot to add to the poll that color is always an option for any GLV..always.

Well, I don't care about the pass-thru, I cycle twice a day for the GLV-2 already and that wouldn't be a change for me. I don't understand about changing voltages inside the box, not sure how that'd be done but I think AFS and VV are both features this must have else it won't be commercially successful as others are going this way, and now. I'm not sold on bottom feeding being superior, if that is a big difference in cost I'd be fine with the top feeder but I wonder what others would say about that. Opinions?

Also, I cannot afford a mod at that price, no matter how technologically superior.....

OK I voted for option 1 but then I read the post from Jay (yes I am a dork) I think all the bells and bling would be nice but a more affordable model would also be nice. can you do both and have a choice in check out. Changing voltage inside the mod would be fine once you know your sweet spot It would probably be left there most anyway.
So if you can have both that would be great. I really like the idea of have it as a passthrough and charger too. but for $185 wow that's quite a hit in the pocket.

I went with option #1, only because of the pass through option. Realistically, I would like the smaller, affordable model, and much like Crimmy said, the changing voltage inside wouldn't be an issue, especially when you consider finding a sweet spot and if you are changing juices you will be opening it up anyways.
I thought the ability to charge via usb would be great, because I almost always have some sort of usb charged device on me (I highly doubt I am the only one), much easier and convenient to carry a multi-use cord then another set of batteries, especially in a mod that reduces the need to bring additional items (Carts, Attys, additional juices).
As far as cost, there are plenty of other mods that are in that price range, plus if it did cost that much, and you really wanted it, perhaps you would have to wait and save a bit longer (which would obviously not be fun), or pass on something else.

I think I should have read the post in its entirety. I would have chosen option #2. Just like you have the GLV2 now where we can choose which one we want, I think it's easier. All the bells and whistles are fine and dandy. At the end of the day we just want something as durable and reliable and the GLV2 is now. A lot of us can't afford to pay a lot of money for a PV. I had to sell my only PV and save some extra to be able to afford to get the GLV2. (So excited! The wait is killing me. Order #434. Just saying. LOL)

You have a great product here. As the old saying goes, If it ain't broke don't fix it. We LOVE your product as you've been making it.

^^^ AGREE !!

Need more info to decide (didn't vote on poll), like dimensional differences (how much smaller for #2) to chance deciding more on aesthetics over functions.

I'm not a "rich" guy either, but certainly can take some time to save up a lot quicker since my cash outlay is 2 packs a day of cigarettes less now in comparison to previous daily expenses, which means I can treat myself to some "bling" if I feel its worth it.

wow this is a lot closer of a poll than I expected.

Not if you take 3 votes away from option 1. When people re read the post they change there minds. well 3 of us did. lol that would make it a land slide on the option 1. but I would like the option to pick at the GLV site between both options.

Option 2...
Having just received my GLV2 yesterday I'm really impressed with the build/quality/performance. I spent allot of time going back and forth deciding between the GLV2 (5v), Joker (AV) and the Buzz (AV). I also consider some of the box mods as well for the juice feed option. As you can see my PV choices included two Adjustable Voltage mods and the GLV2. The GLV won out based on perceived build/quality/performance as well as the exceptional Customer Service - all validated!

The one thing that went through my mind during this process was "wouldn't it be nice if the GLV2 had adjustable voltage?". In the end, I figured that I would wait for the AV option until it had matured a little bit and the fact that the GLV2 is such a quality device - the button really put it over the top.

So.... as long as the same quality and performance is in the GLV3 (which I have no doubt) and it has adjustable voltage capabilities I'll be a happy camper and likely asking the boss (wife) to approve another PV expense. The juice feed will be icing on top and having to open the box of switch voltage won't be an issue for me - find the sweet spot and leave it.
