GLV2 Arrives today!

Yay so i'm getting my GLV2 5v today (probably in the mailbox already) and was just looking for others opinions on some connections they've been using on there, I had my with the 510 connector and plan to just use a 510 atty with drip tip to start.

What is everyone using on there? V2 or Mini

Well Mikey, I've become a real fan of the LR306 I still use a LR Cisco 510 sometimes but for me theirs just a better kick and tons of vapor with the LR306s.

And I'm using this setup on my Super Mini.

Just got home from work, Got my mail and first thing i did was open the GLV package =) Looks amazing! awesome job Jay.

I'm using a 510 atty with a drip tip at the moment waiting on my bluefoam to arrive to play around with that. The atty does burn hot real fast which im not used to yet but im sure ill get the hang of it =)

Take smaller drags if its a 5v.Maybe try cartos or a 901 or 801 atty.I use 808 cartos and I love them at 5v.

Thats what they recommended i use, i might have to order some to try them out. The atty's definitely burn to hot and the juice burns up fast, Going to try the mega cartridge too and see how that hits. The TH is amazing, just need to get the burnt taste away and it will be flawless!

Ok so i had a mega cartirdge full of juice, about 20-24 drops and after 4-5 hits i get burnt taste. tried the new mega atty i got from totally wicked and wow what a difference...On a drip tip, i put 5-7 drops in and get the same amount of hits on a 20 drop cart. I also noticed that the 510 megas i got with the Joye stick seem to sorta flame after 1-2 seconds where the totally wicked attys dont. They seem to burn better.

Anyone play with the Tanks on this? I would love to have a tank or Fluxomizor on this thing. the Gigantomizer looked pretty sweet too

My experience with Fluxomizers has been less than satisfactory; either I vape too much or they don't wick quickly enough. YMMV.

Haven't tried tanks.

I use a 510 atty with a large drip tip that I can see through. I put in 4-5 drops at a time so it doesn't spill up or burn my lips. However, I've gotten used to the dripping and can do it in the dark without missing. I think taking shorter hits without tipping up the GLV helps. I've used cartos on it and just think the 510 Joye attys are the bomb.

Yea last night I had on the 510 mega attys from totally wicked with a mega cart. Worked well but then a random hit and nasty burning. Dripping seems to work the best so far and will just have to keep them soaked

Update: Seems like a lot of the new Atty's i got/used need to be broken in and flooded like crazy. Took me almost 3 ML of juice to get it vaping good and no more burning taste. I have 2 that are perfect right now and will be breaking in the rest tonight. This GLV hits like a champ! I love it

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm having problems My GLV2 is super-heating my V4L coolcarts (with very little effort on my part) to the point of burning them! I have tried several juices, taken very short, shallow hits and even pulsed the button, but the same thing keeps happening. I thought it would be near impossible to burn a Coolcart! Please help!

Well just got my GLV 5v in the mail, hopefully the supermini is close behind. The 5v is a lot smaller than i thought and looks great. I only have 510 Atties - LR 1.8, Standard and HV. I am wondering what 510 atties people use.

I tried a 5v atty at 4.2ohms and that works great (need to get used to not having 5 second draws though, 2 seconds is enough), and seems to be better than the standard and lr (I have the Aw batteries so assume ok to use LR)

But i also got 6 HV atties from Great lakes and find the one i tried a bit wimpy. I did dewick it and use for around an hour.

Not sure if they need longer to burn in, or the greatlakes HV's are perhaps higher than 4.2 ohms? What are others using and does anyone know what the greatlakes HV's ohm rating is as it doesn't list on the website (although does state for 5/6v use).

PS - Overall I am very happy with the GLV2 and once i fine tune my juices and atties to it, can see myself not using my other PV's and becoming a GLV2 fanboy.

Tried another GL HV atty, works better than the first one. Still a bit wimpy. Perhaps the first one was a bit of a dud, or i may have even done something while de wicking. I think though the ohm rating must be a little higher than my other HV atties, or maybe just need to burn them in for longer.
Anyway interested to hear what 510 atties and ohm rating people find works best for them with their 5v.

Tonight my partner is away for work,so i have a poker night lined up at my house. I am sure after many hours, poker games beers and vaping I will find my sweet spot. I just hope i remember what i learned in the morning LOL

So my final conclusion after a week of Vaping this thing....IT F'in ROCKS! enough said =) Tried going back to my joye stick while the batteries charge...not happening haha. Jay & Sara, Thank you for your hard work in this (If you read this). Have another buying placing an order very soon.
