Go Green - Where to recycle your dead batteries

I have been asked a few times on where you can recycle your dead batteries. I saw a commercial today about this and found a website with a locator.

Just click the drop off locator link and enter your city- it'll bring up a list of local businesses that you can recycle your batteries at.

Yes, I figured that if one of my batts went dead out of warranty, I'd just send it to Konstantine. I get the battery out of the country and he gets something else to tear apart and play with. win-win.

I've had one die early (my gold/copper auto), but wanted to send it to K. rather than return for warranty, as I was curious about what failed/weakened, and I hoped he'd be able to shed some light on the issue. I haven't managed to do that, yet.

You can gather them to one place for example and send them as one package. I could salvage a lot of things (including lithium metal) and spare parts and recycle the rest.

Okay - I am planning on sending a couple of batteries to Konstantine also . . .

So I have a proposal for everyone and something I am willing to do . . .

Anyone who wants to send him batteries or anything electronic, just PM "Me" so we can make arrangements to have you send them to "Me" first - then whatever I get from everyone I will repack them in a box and then send via one of the other services that are available by the end of next month to Konstantine . . .

They are not batteries, they are electronic devices with circuits and protections.
You can label them as "electronic part", nobody will care, i never had a problem shipping batteries from the states even now after this regulation.
