No probs on safari for me Justice.

Good to hear, although I'd like to stress that not going to new is not a little problem, cause it makes it impossible to keep up with fast moving threads. Since mostly what I do here is social at this point, it's important to me to keep up on my threads.

Thanks for continuing to work out the kinks!

Using Chrome browser on Linux....
I have found that if I am on the correct page for the last read post, it goes to the last read post properly. If, however, I am not on the proper page, it will simply go to the first post on the page that I am on. My work around is this.... I 'like' the first post on the page. Then, when I go back to the thread, I will go to the last page of the thread. If it is a post I have already 'liked' then going to first unread works as it should. If I have not 'liked' the post, then I start going in reverse until I get to a page where the first post has not been 'liked'. Then I begin to read as normal. Kind of a kludge, but it works better than the alternative.

I have been doing what I posted in post #46, been working fine, a little of a PITA, but not bad until they fix it.

You should see it if you click on the last page of a subscribed thread and it works.

So frustrating, I used to visit multiple times per day. Now I visit once or twice per week.

Too much work following multiple threads.

Beginning to regret becoming a supporting member.

You guys have ruined the best forum on the internet.

We're sorry you're having such a difficult time navigating ECF right now. We just ask that you bare with us just a little while longer while these issues get sorted out. I think most would agree getting back online at all was priority, and temporary workarounds to these issues, while not ideal, are fairly minor compared to not having the resource at all.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon, and we can all resume our regularly scheduled first new post seeking.

Warts and all, it's still light years ahead of the old BBS systems I started out with.

Yeah, a hassle, goto to new / first unread goes to first post of the thread, then bounces to the page containing the first unread, and I have to scroll down. But it's being worked on, and I'm happy the pittance asked of us supporting members helps to pay for the time of the good people working to fix it.

Stuff happens.

working with subscribed threads or ''my posts'' things are still manageable especially if you stay on top of these threads on a daily basis ;)

Tibs, how about starting an interest co-op thread for a 'view first unread' button. I'm sure it would be a hit.
