ecf is not very good at fixing problems. I hate the way the "view first unread" is broken and it makes me not like being here as much.

eta: Nope.... ECF-1 still sends me to the first post after posting. See if editing posts takes me there.....
edit 2 - Hmmm. Posting a new reply takes me to the first post in the thread, but editing a post keeps me at the last post. Still needs a fix for the first reply post. win7 ie 11.

I said prior to the recent problems. IOW, they are the best ones to use on ECF for now. Didn't mean to imply they'd fix the first new post issue.
Yes, saw the 'prior to' - I had 'no skin' in the dropdown (probably whatever the default is), so I thought I'd try choosing ECF-1 just in case. And I wasn't sure if the 'first new post' issue issue was the same as the 'flipping up to the first post after replying' issue
... but evidently it's connected.
It had been working on Chrome for me but now it's not. Now the button takes me to the top of the last page, not the last post. Still not working at all in Safari or IE. Is there any kind of ETA on this fix? Seems like it should be a priority.
yes, it definitely cuts down on my ECF surfing desire...

This is really wonky. I just posted in a thread to see if I could access the last post (it's happening only in this one thread here), but while my settings page shows me my post was the last one, I can't even see it. Strange because in my recent posts, it doesn't show that I even made that post.
But, oh well, I still love ECF.
Edit* Now the post is showing up in my recent posts, but when I click on it, it sends me to a different post in that thread -- it's as if the lasts couple posts are locked, though the thread won't clear from my settings page because I haven't accessed the lasts posts. Interestingly, I know that my post and the one before it are the last two posts in the thread (#119 and #120), but in my settings page, though it shows "Mr.Mann" as having made the last post, the number of replies for the thread shows only 118 posts and 118 isn't mine.
Just tried to "jump to post" 120 and it takes me to 118.
But, oh well, I still love ECF.

I believe the issue is being worked on still. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon!
