Im on an rta kick right now and am looking at this one, just got a billow v2 today (absolutely love it) and ive had a subtank mini for a while now.

So what im curious about is how yall fill it. I know it has a bottom fill screw which is seriously giving me second thoughts, is it really that big of a PITA to fill? Anyone filling from the top? I know if you unscrew the top portion you *could* fill it that way so long as you hold down the glass real well. So what do yall think? Is $18 worth the potential fill hassles?

Hey I have a Goblin rta and personally I do use the bottom screw to fill sometimes. But as you said I unscrew the top part and hold the glass down tight while filling it. This for me is easier but just to let you know even if you fill it to the brim of the glass I am pretty sure that is not even half the capacity it could hold when you bottom fill it, you can tell after you fill it from the top by flipping the whole thing upside down. So even though I fill it from the top I have to do it pretty often. I gotta get me a top filler though like the zephyrus.

Thanks for the reply mecca, especially for letting me know about the top filling not completely filling it. Is bottom filling as annoying and difficult as it seems? I would think it would be because as your pumping juice into the air would have no where to go and just push the juice back out. I absolutely refuse to carry around a syringe for the thing and would like to use my regualr glass droppers or squeeze bottles if i can.

The bottom fill in the Goblin works very well if done properly with a needle tip bottle.

What I've been doing is letting it run pretty low to the point where the liquid level is past the glass and filling it while it's still warm. I do it while it's warm since the liquid I use it VG heavy, so it helps the remaining liquid move around. I have no issues filling this way concerning backflow or flooding, and no liquid coming out of the fill port after the screw is in. Works every time, but the tank being near empty helps. It fills quick too.

It's a really nice tank, it's a shame so many dislike it because filling issues.

Bottom filling is not really annoying or difficult, It is just that I am lazy lol and I use the smaller tank glass so capacity is only around 3 mls so I find my self refilling often and its just sometimes I don't have a screwdriver handy or I am in a hurry so I got used to top filling that way. But If you use the larger glass and tank extension it shouldn't be much of a problem, as it only requires you to unscrew the atomizer than the fill screw and the bottom filling works fine for me even if you do not have a syringe but a juice bottle with a skinny tip to use, I have never had problems with juice spilling out while filling just make sure you wick it correctly. But I think you will be happy with your purchase as I think it is a great tank
