So im gonna go from the greensmokes to the ego twist, but cant really find any starter kits for a noob like me.

So can someone please help me in exactly what items and how many i need to order to get myself started

Currently i know i should order

2 650mah Ego Twist batteries (i want smaller ones, coz i dont want the PV too big, my job is driving so i can always charge so have no problem with smaller batteries

some ejuice - which ive already ordered

????

In the above you didnt mention anything about atomizers or cartomizers which is important when you're dealing with a Variable Voltage Device like the Twist. If you're completely new to this I'd recommend you check out GrimmGreen on youtube. Otherwise Ego-Twist starter kits are everywhere and all fairly inexpensive :)

TAKING THE NEXT VAPING STEP - YouTube

He also reviews the Ego Twist which might help you out a bit ;)

At the moment, I don't believe the eGo Twist is available in a kit. I could be wrong, but I looked all around and ordered one a few nights ago. You will need an eGo charger. You can find one for 10 bucks or so on any of the reputable sites. btw, I found the best deal on the Twist batteries at MyVaporStoreDotCom

I have not seen an ego twist starter kit either. However my first starter kit was the basic two ego batteries, case, charger (wall and car), and two stardust clearomizers with a free e juice from Vulcanvape.com. After a week I grab 1000 mah ego twist and have been content since. The starter kit was $65 and then the twist was $30. Hope this helped.

I upgraded to the twist from the regular ego 1000mah. I also got the 650mah battery b/c the larger ones with a tank on them are REALLY tall. One thing I noticed was that the initial added vapor production was great- very noticeable change; however, it seemed to poop out real quick and act about the same as the 3.7v ego.

It just wasn't enough vapor for me- even with different sized cartos. If I had it to do over again I would have gone to a larger VV MOD. I'd look at the most recent version of the SMOK Gripper. It's shorter and has longer battery life than the egos. Plus if you drive a lot it won't roll around in the truck b/c it's flat.

Variable Volt Gripper

$50 for the MOD. About $25 for batteries and a charger. Just a little more than 2 ego twist batteries would cost and it goes up to 6v if you desire.

Can't go wrong with either one. Just wanted to throw in my two cents.

Good Luck!

I've seen the twist as a kit, but you are better off putting your money elsewhere.mimusemthe clearomizers (make suremtheymaremthe new long wick. Them earlier versions kept burning out to quick. If you want try your hand dripping. Try a good LR atty shield and (kinda pricey) supert manufacturing long drip tip. Direct dripping and no more juice in the mouth.
Good luck and happy vaping!

I love my twists. As much as I want a big battery mod, I keep finding reasons not to buy anything else. I think they're really solid, and I'll probably order several more before I seriously consider a mod……mostly because I'm kind of waiting for someone to just make a Twist with a better regulator that holds a bigger battery. I'm not sure it'll ever happen.

As for what to put on it………

I really like the Vivi Nova. Check out some reviews and see if they're what you want. Grimmgreen has a youtube review of them that gives some dire warnings, but it's worth noting that I–and a lot of others–have had great experiences with them and that as of his last video, he's using them on Twists and likes them. Personally, I like the way the 1.8ohm head works best on it. Lots of people disagree with me, and that's why it comes with 3 different heads. Use them and re-order the one you like. They last at least a week.

If you're a geek, archive binge grimmgreen and pbusardo (tasteyourjuice.com). I find their videos to be great entertainment as well as great information.

You'll also want to read up on cartomizers and tanks. There are apparently some really good cartos out there, but I haven't gotten them in yet, so I don't feel comfortable recommending them myself……I'll be ordering some soon, and I hope that they (the Ikenvape Fusion 801s) work as well as people say they do.

With a job driving, you probably won't be doing much dripping, so I'll skip Atomizers and just say that the Vivi Nova gives me most of what I got out of the atomizers I've liked is hands-down better than the bad ones.

Oh, and I hate Smoktech cartomizers. I know a lot of people use them, but the ones I have are proabbly going to stay in the droor until I throw them out the next time I move. Or if I like the fusions, I'll probably give the smoktechs and my DCT to a friend who's using an Ego-T for lack of the money to experiment and upgrade to better tanks.

Oh yeah……and order more juice than you think you need. Like…a lot more. i keep running out of my "favorite" and end up vaping sub-par juice. It works, and I don't want a cigarette. But I'll be happy when I have 50-100ml of my standby juices sitting around so I know I can experiment with small bottles and not be heartbroken if I order 10 6ml bottles of juice I don't particularly love.

Ok so some of the information fora noob was baffling and nearly made me run until the one but last post about a stardust, that sounded simple and thats what i want for now, soa baterry and add a stardust, fill with juice and vape, see at my stage of noobness in vaping that sounds more down my avenue. With this stardust, do you simply fill with juice and go ?

Just get the stardust with the replacable (rebuildable) heads together with your twist and you're all set

That seems noob friendly, thing is what if i wanna change flavours when tank is empty? do i need to clean it in a special way, or is there some sort of setup i should look for to do this.

The Twist kits are few and far between, very hard to find and a bit overpriced. I found one kit w/2 batteries for $89 which is a bit pricey, but it does come with everything you need including two clearomizers. It's a good configuration and would be a great start if the price is do-able. Otherwise you will need to order your pieces separately. eGo C Twist 1000 starter kit

Both batteries in this kit are the 1000 mah

the easiest way i got started was from the stardust; gotvapes.com has some on sale right now but i don't know if they do international shipping. With the stardust just pick a flavor you love fill the tank with it and your set. I would have an atty on hand just to try flavors out before putting them in, it beats wasting a whole lotta juice

edit: A lot of people recommend getting the vivi nova also, same concept of the stardust. Might be a better choice since the twist is a vv. I havent tried one yet but i plan on getting one ASAP.
