Welcome to the Forum!
You won't find many on the forum that made the switch from dipping to vaping but there are a few! I am one of them!
I wasn't dipping anywhere near as much as you were though! 2-3 cans a day is a bunch!! Haha, I was dipping about 2-3 a week.
As far as physical effects go here is my opinion so far.. Just so you know I'm relatively new also so I'm no pro.
I was dipping Grizzly Wintergreen which has a relatively high nic content compared to some other dips. So when I order my eLiquid I stay in the 12 or 16 area. I normally use 12 when I'm able to vape all day such as weekends, and use 16 when I'm working and can't vape throughout the day. Since I wasn't a smoker I never inhaled anything so I was a little concerned I wouldn't get the nic effect I was looking for. But I learned through this forum that the nic from vaping is absorbed through your mouth and sinus membraines. I usually inhale and hold for a few seconds before slowly exhaling through my nose. With a higher nic content you can really feel it!
I will say it is a different sensation than dipping. I do miss the stinging sensation my pouches would give me, although I don't miss it enough to go back to spitting. Actually I've traded that sensation for just a little bit of throat hit, seems to do the trick for me.
Also, dip seemed to give me a longer buzz cause its constantly in your mouth therefore constantly releasing nic into your system. But that's the good thing about vaping you can just vape away however often you feel like!
If you're spending all that money on dip I would just get you a good starter kit and give it a go. I highly recommend it.. It seems to be working for me so far (going on a month). Plus, it's way more fun.. Collecting diff batteries and tanks, and flavors.. The combinations are endless.
Hopefully this helps with your question!
