Ok so i pretty much have everything ordered except for the tank which is out of stock and the cartos from an earlier post http://www.surevapes.com/Boge-Mix-n-Match-Deal-4-Boxes_p_71.html looks good to me what's the difference between the stainless and black besides the oblivious material can i still punch holes into the cartos of the stainless to use with a tank ? sorry for my ignorance just don't understand why these if two different ones possibly ascetics ? I know I'm going to go with the SR 3.0 ohm that's only available in the stainless is it due to the higher ohms that require a different casing ?

Wow, that is going to be quite the setup for a new vaperer!
The reason to buy the stainless cartos is so you don't have to pull the black sticker off of it if you are gonna punch holes in it and use it in a tank, its just easier. You would not want to just take a carto with the black sticker, punch holes in it and use it in s tank.

Good luck with the sweet setup!

Drip Tip! I'm not sure if it has been mentioned but you will need a drip tip. They can be found anywhere. They can range anywhere from $1 to $15. This is my favorite one for the Provari that I have...
Anodized Dripper Tip
The silver was sold out when I ordered so I got the Slate to go with my Satin Silver Provari. Slate looks great but I think silver would look better. Eitherway, its a solid drip tip that fits the Boge Cartos good.

I've thought about a tank for my Provari but haven't looked into them yet. The Pila charger has a good reputation. 3 batteries is also a good move. I have only two and it takes 3 to 4 hours to charge one if it's at cutoff or close to it. I try to swap mine out when it gets down to 3.4 volts using the Cb check battery feature on the Provari. Only once have I let it go to flashing and I didn't notice any difference in the vapor quality right up to cutoff.

I'm using my cheapo Trustfire TR-001, which also has a good reputation. It's the same as the Tenergy charger on ProVape's web site. It does a good job on the AW 18650 IMR batteries. You can hardly tell any warmth while charging at 500ma, which is a good thing.

Unless you want to vape a coronal mass ejection, that provari will have all the power you need. Most new vapers (myself included) start out with seriously underpowered hardware.

I'd hold off on loading tanks till you get your juice situation figured out. What tastes great to me may be completely disgusting to you, and as your taste buds come back to life over the next couple weeks, your tastes may change. Stick with the cheap 3ohm cartos till you get a juice you fall in love with. Keep the attys to test out new juices.

Then keep some around as an emergency backup.

You for sure not gonna regret the purchase. Im a new vaper to after trying a couple ego's last year and dropping back to analog. Just got my sett from biginning this week and dont see myself ever going back to analog. I had the luck dct tank was still in stock to have my first "cheap" tank experience. Glad i tried one of the tanks on provape site, its working for me but i know im ready to invest a bit more in a decent tank now.

I've found that the taste and vapor are pretty much comparable using Boge 2.0 ohm and Boge 3.0 ohm cartos with the Provari. Both are good. 4.2v to 4.5v is good with the 3 ohm and 3.4v to 3.7v is good for the 2.0 ohm. So whatever is on sale, you can vape at different voltages. If your supplier is out of one, just order the other and adjust the voltage. That's true for any VV mod. It's the wattage that determines the vape quality.

This chart will show you where you are in wattage for a given voltage. Click it to see the enlarged version that's actually readable.

WOW so I got my provari on Friday at 1:00pm and haven't smoked an analog since been puffing on some pink spot pear o melons and some halo tribeca 18mg with the 3 ohm SR boge carto. I guess you can say I've been chain vaping overall my buying experience has been great everything I tried has worked very well thanks to everyone suggestions I've been keeping the voltage at about 4.5v and seems to be hitting the spot with me. waiting for my arry V3 tank in the mail should be here next week the lil momma pro-cise was sold out.

One thing that happened to me was i order 30MG juice from freedom smoke by accident when I really wanted to go with 18mg really don't know how i messed that up but i have to say i tried couple puffs of it and woow it was harsh instantly got a headache from it, anything i can do to dilute this i would really hate to throw it out I got the 10 pack sample pack :(

So my next adventure will be getting an atomizer i know someone said pick up a good cisco spec atomizer should i be looking into the 2.5ohm SR or LR ? if i like the vape at about 4.5v the HH.357 or the AVA looks promising I really like the idea of a rebuildable atomizer like the Z-Atty-Pro or Odysseus but there all sold out.

I really want to try different juice's and I think the atomizer would be a really good option for that any suggestions ?

I am not going to be a lot of help on what atty to buy, but you really do want to buy one. I am relatively new to this stuff as well and received my Provari 2 on Friday, along with a DCTtank. I had been vaping on an eGo-c up to now, so I have no experience with cartos or dripping. I also ordered a standard 3ohm atty. I dripped every juice I had and had a ball. On Saturday, I attempted the tank....flooded the carto, spilled 3mil of fluid in my hand, and nearly drowned when I tried to take a drag! Cartos takes practice (at least for me)! Dripping on an atty is plug -and-vape

To lower the nic level, you could order the same juice at 0% nic and mix the two? Good luck.

Glad you like it! :D Once you get a bit more comfortable, try adjusting the voltage a bit - I've found a lot of juices change flavor profiles pretty substantially - in a 3ohm carto there are some I love at 4.5v but taste muted or burnt at 5.0v and some I love at 5v but taste muted at lower voltages.

Regarding atomizers for dripping and testing juices - when you're new, you'll make mistakes, just like all of us do, and the learning process will cost you a few atomizers (burning 'em all to hell, somehow getting an impossible-to-remove menthol or terrible juice flavor stuck in them, etc). For me, it makes sense to do your learning on standard (ie, cheap) 510 or 306 atomizers rather than the much, much more expensive Cisco spec versions. ;)The HH.357 can be a bit of a temperamental atty even for experienced vapors. Personally, I like the standard-resistance atomizers on my provari - the real advantage of LR stuff is on 3.7v devices, where they have no other recourse to get to higher wattage vaping.

Also, Mycaptain is spot on - especially when you're new, consider getting your juices in smaller bottles of high nic and low/zero nic, so that you can mix them and try out different nic levels and find what works best for you.

That is really great to hear! I am really glad you posted back to let us know how it was going for you.

One thing that happened to me was i order 30MG juice from freedom smoke by accident when I really wanted to go with 18mg really don't know how i messed that up but i have to say i tried couple puffs of it and woow it was harsh instantly got a headache from it, anything i can do to dilute this i would really hate to throw it out I got the 10 pack sample pack :(
You could get some 100% PG or VG and add it to your juice. However, it will also dilute the flavor of the juice too. PG is generally the base in most juices. It tends to give a bit more throat hit. VG is a bit smoother with less throat hit but produces massive clouds of vapor. You can find it at almost any DIY vendor website and its only a couple bucks for a giant bottle.

Generally, with a VV device you should look to SR first because, IMO, it's better to achieve your total watts through higher voltage but as someone already mentioned in this thread the beauty of VV devices is that whatever you get you can make it work.

I really want to try different juice's and I think the atomizer would be a really good option for that any suggestions ?

Sorry, wish I could help you there. I haven't ever messed with dripping or atomizers. I have been thinking about getting the hh357 because I always hear so much good stuff about them but I haven't pulled the trigger. Its on my list of wants with that Whos Your Daddy tank.

I've got to say I picked up a hh.357 3.0ohm been trying different juices and i have to say it does bring out the flavor and a really nice HIT. I'm not really into a lot of the tobacco juices I've tried I do like the pink spot pear o melons and the ry4 but that's really it nothing in the HALO sample pack and the Freedom smoke sample pack tasted good to me Gonna keep sampling. Anyone have some good suggestions for sample packs ?

Also anyone know what the 18650 charge should be at once fully charged ? on the provari right after I take it out of the charger and plop it in reads 4.0 I actually forgot to charge it one day and didn't bring a spare to work it died about 3/4 of the day.
