Wondering if I need to grab additional Cone Atomizers or tank Cartridges or anything else. I dont want to be stuck if I end up liking this setup. Also while we are talking ego tank, are there any interesting mods I should look at getting? I see posts mention mods all the time but dont know much about them or even if they even can be attached to all ecigs.

imo your still getting an ego which means your not just stuck with the tankomizer if you dont like it. the blank tanks you get should last you a long time if taken care of (months). you could get a cone and a an atty with a drip tip or cartomizers its really up to you, drip tips are always great for testing flavors. a syringe also definitely maximizes the life of your tanks too =)

I'm two weeks new too this whole scene, but went the ego-t route after researching ECF for a solid week. All I can say is get more attys if you can afford them. There is a learning curve with the way you draw off of them and how you clean them. I killed the two attys that came with my starter kit the first week because I didn't take care of them and didn't draw off of them properly. Get a Low Res. (LR) atty if you can, as it will improve the flavour and vape production. The starter kit will come with 7 tanks that are reusable so you are fine in that department. Be warned that you will not get a lot of flavour out of the tank system. Two weeks in and I'm already looking at cartomizers or dripping to improve the apparent lack of flavour. Maybe it's the juice I'm using???

no the tanks definitely diminish flavor, i use minty flavors like menthol and peppermint in the tanks because the flavors are strong, and i drip with my other favorites that are a lil bit lighter. i would also agree with buying at least an extra LR tank atty or LR atty though if you can afford it just for a back up.

With my previous post in mind... I'd buy a cheap pack of 5, 510 cartomizers and a single 510 atty and drip tip. It will only cost you an extra $20 at the most and you will be able to test out three preferred different vaping methods (tank, cartos and dripping). Then you can zero in on the one you like and really specialize. I'm currently waiting on an order so I can do the same thing.

I would pick up a 5 pack of cartomizers, a drip tip and a cone. The tank works beautifully when it works but it's a really finicky system. I ditched my tanks for cartomizers a week ago and the flavor is much more consistent. The only annoyance is more frequent topping off but it beats the intense cleaning rituals needed to keep the eGo-T atomizers working.

Agreed evilGnome. I need to blow through and wipe up both sides of my ego tank system after every tank change just to get a consistant vape. If I don't, I feel like the air flow is blocked during every hit and my lunges are going to cave in on themselves. Even then, I'm happy when I taste any sort of flavour. Enough of this crap. Saving up for a juice box so I can "fake drip" all day long.

That said, the ego-T is very handy to have in your pocket while you're out. I couldn't imagine bringing a juice box mod to a club with me.

Absolutely buy 2 more tank atomizers (you never know when one will go out), buy a 510 atomizer, a LR 510 atomizer, a drip tip and more tanks. In my experience the more tanks the better. I keep a bag full of filled tanks with different juices close to me at all times. I like to randomly pick and see what surprising flavor I'm going to pull out next!

We started with just the tank system, which just didnt do it for me. My wife is totally fine with it, its easy and no fuss. I have also gone through Boge LR cartos and am now on a 510 T atty with a tank, which for me at least performs much better than the eGo-T tanks, including the LR ones. I have not tried the B series, but have heard that they are much much better than the A's.

Given that, it may pay to pick up a few extra bits and pieces in the same order to save on shipping. That way you can try some different setups and decide what works for you.

JMHO from a relative noob :)

I really did hope the eGo-T would be better. I love the concept. The tank capacity is sufficient to last most of the day. It looks cool and classy. The whistle tips are a great size.

Oh, well. At least eGo platform offers more than enough options for any vaper to find what works for them at minimal cost after the initial investment.

+1, I would agree with lostsoul. The tank system did not do it for me. The vapor production was minimal at best average. Get a Low res atomizer, cone, and drip tip. you will not regret it. Much more vapor production and better taste!

As for mods, I'm just getting started myself, but to name a few popular ones, the Saber Touch line is nice, it comes in different options such as the 3.7v/6v, 5v Regulated, Mini ,or the VariVolt. I just bought a Saber Touch VV for myself. The Provari also seems to get very good reviews, also I believe the buzz is also another favorite. In members Smokie's review for the Joker volt meter, I believe the buzz was turned up past 6.7 volts. That's pretty crazy...

GL on your search bud! :)
