I started vaping a month ago with Halo, and love the juice I've purchased through them. But I've heard great things of Boba's Bounty? Also, I used Blu disposables before I discovered the tank systems. I liked that flavor and found one called Domestic by Johnson Creek (makers of the Blu classic tobacco flavor) that is apparently strikingly similar. Any comments on either of these? I am not a fan of overly sweet things.

Boba's wil be alot different then Halo juices, because of the 100% vg. I didn't get enough "throat hit" for my taste, but the flavor is ok. Haven't tryed any Johnson Creek juices yet (surprisenly) I have tryed a bunch of different ejuice vendors, some good,, some not so much. caution: EJuice buying can be addictive. If you haven't already, check out the thread of the top vendors of 2013, Its great info.

Domestic is not sweet. Tennessee cured is sweeter.
Yes, try Boba's Bounty.
Blu disposables more a mix of tennesse cured and that chocolate cocoa flavor they sell. Domestic mixed in will make it a little more neutral/tobacco-ey.
All the johnson creek have an underlying "smokey" flavor to me, if you like that go for it.

Give Boba's a try, get the smallest sample bottle, as it's pricey. My take on it is it's a dry, crumbly graham cracker and raisin, slightly acrid, with tons of vapor. It's not a tobacco at all, but it's very "cigarette", if that makes any sense at all. I'm letting mine steep more, all the comments I've read is that it gets better and better with age. Definitely not sweet!

I always found the Blu flavor to be almost a hazelnut, or cappuchino and hazelnut, so I'd say try some coffees out - there's hundreds of them, though.

It's hard to make recommendations, because flavors are different for everyone, and there's so many vendors now. It makes the Zamplebox more attractive for that reason, you get a bunch of flavors that you might not otherwise try. There's also eliquidsamples.com that lets you buy samples of a lot of popular flavors, and a lot of vendors do samples, like Halo does. I just ordered the "little bit of everything" from Alice in Vapeland, for that very reason - I can try a lot of different things, without committing to the price of a full bottle.

I have been sticking with halo because I'm used to it. And I don't gave a ton of cash to go testing everything that catches my eye. I tried a few that were recommended (papa smurf, tobacco pure) and they were either sweet to an extreme or tasted like sucking air. But it's true that with vaping taste is very subjective so I'll just have to keep searching based on recommendations. Thanks for the replies, they do help. *1 month smoke free ...

Really, you're better off doing that. If you have one or two you enjoy, stick with them. You can waste a ton of money chasing every flavor you hear about. Trust me, I know. Could have gotten a nice APV with the money I blew on liquids I don't like.

I agree with Caridwen, she's 100% right about this. I too could have bought a nice APV or two wasting cash on over-hyped liquid. Example: I just bought around 220ml of "the best juice I've ever tried" and find most sub par at best! I would try a small bottle of Boba's, it's one if those liquids you have to try at least once!
