Has anyone had the chance to try or look in to Golden Greek's VIR chip? From what I have been able to tell, it has temp limiting technology similar to Evolv's though it works on Titanium and SS wire (instead of NMickle and Titanium). Specifics are hard to come by though and if it weren't for the GG legacy I'd have thought VIR was pure marketing hyperbole.

Tell me if I am missing something, but all I hear is he has programed temperature vs. resistance profiles for several low resistance wires. In other words, you can use titanium or stainless steel and wait until the board goes through a heating/resistance measuring sequence and then vape without burning the wick. One problem he has is you can't see what temperature you have the device set to like a DNA40. It will be interesting to see if Evolv includes the built-in wire type profiles in the next generation chip. Right now I see DNA40 enthusiasts creating their own profiles and and recalibrating their devices for each wire type.
