Hey guys,

I got a E-NIC for the first time a few weeks ago. I used it pretty good for the first 4 days now I'm back to smoking analogs. I feel like such a failure. I admire the people on here that can stick with the e-cig and say screw off to the analogs. I'm still searching for a flavor I guess. I got a new one thats called Robacco Caramel and it's 32mg nicotine. I don't like the caramel in it. I need to find a good tobacco flavored liquid with a high nicotine content. I've decided that the fruity foody flavors just aren't for me. I want something that taste like tobacco. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

From what I've observed on this forum, the people who immediately dropped analogs and never looked back really enjoyed the e-cigs and their flavor. There are plenty more though who have said it took time. Don't beat yourself up. Of course you're back on analogs if you don't really enjoy vaping yet. I hope you find something you like. Maybe that will be your big breakthrough!

I still really like a tobacco flavour. I use virginian gold from Totally wicked but there tends to be a lot of tobacco flavourings from many different vendors.

I smoked golden virginia for 7 years and thank some form of deity that no one rolls their own and offers me one because that would be hard to pass down. I switched from "real" cigarettes to rolling my own quite quickly when I started because it just tastes so much better. I got into vaping and like you, wanted to taste a real cigarette from my PV.

I don't think a "real" cigarette taste exists but there are decent substitutes that are close. The virginian gold I use tastes a little like the real thing but it absolutely smells like opening a fresh pack of golden v tobacco and I love that.

I wouldn't feel bad about smoking real cigs when you start vaping; a lot of people say they took time to transition into it. Finding your "flavour" definately helps. It took me a while to find ones I could vape all day.

I don't do tobacco flavors but you should give a cinnamon flavor a try. Its got a nice throat hit and is pleasant tasting without being overly sweet.

i second that idea. i think cinnamon flavors really helped me get over the hump. i still crave a good satisfying vape but i mix up the flavors enough so that i dont get tired of one and keep myself from smoking =)

I dropped my cigs the day I got my riva and haven't looked back yet. I vape my variable voltage box mod now. The key for me was to say eff analogs. Even if I didn't like what I was vaping, I was getting the nic and that stoppage of my cig craving was worth the not so tasty vape. Plus in stingy and don't like to waste liquid so rather than buying new stuff I'd vape what I had :p vaping the gross stuff makes the good liquid just oh so much better

All because it hasn't worked for you yet does not mean YOU are a failure, maybe its just not right for you at this minute.Just keep an open mind about it and try different things until you find what works for you.Try not to let it over burden you.I never liked green peas when I was younger but as I tried them a little at a time I become to love them.So keep your head up and don't doubt yourself.

The only juice I've tried that actually tastes like tobacco to me, and my husband, and four of our friends, is Backo by Backwoods Brew.

By the time I received it, I had already figured out that I didn't want to taste tobacco anymore. For me, the most important thing about vaping was the right equipment and consistency - I had to be able to know that it was going to work the same way all the time, so when I got a REO, then used it exclusively with cartos (and then added a cone adapter), I knew there was no turning back.

Good luck, I hope you find what works best for you too!

Hey, just take your time and have fun finding and trying new flavors of juice...mix it up, etc...they more you are experimenting the less your actually tobacco smoking...treat it like a hobby not a chore and perhaps you will find yourself enjoying it..After over 45 yrs of smoking I have been vaping for 2 months now...I didn't plan to totally quit smoking but I found it so much FUN trying new flavors trying to find one that was really really good or the best that I just never went back to the hot firey black hole I was in...lol Best of luck to you...my sons and I also like the cinnamon in our tobacco flavored juice... i am courious about the WTA stuff, perhaps you should check it out...I also would like any advice from anyone who has tried the WTA from vapelicious.com.

Good luck to you, the suggestion of getting a tobbaco flavor sampler is a good one, maybe your flavor exists. Even if vaping never is your thing you are still closer to quitting for having tried.
i use V4L and i got their tobacco sampler (they have 2 i forget which one i bought :() but of the 5 cartos 2 of the flavors really work for me. the Kamel & WOW Cowboy are my "go to" vapes

Don't beat yourself up- It took me at 2 months to get off analogs totally and I'm still having trouble some days- i think a lot of it is if you really want to quit analogs and finding what works for you. i also found that the more you vape the worse analogs taste IMO. the last one I had tasted absolutely AWFUL

Sonroprevol, this is not a race or competition, it is all about what works for you and saves your life and lungs. No one is a failure if they try and fall, and then try again. Christ fell 3 times carrying the cross! Just try some RY4, or 555, or any satandard juice to start with and stay off the fruity stuff, it will be easier. Sometimes, some of us can quit like that, others takes weeks or months to wean off the analogs. Get some good harware like the eGo or Riva from Libertyflights.com, oor litecisusa.net, or cignot etc and they all carry decent starter juices as well, or janty, freedomsmokeUSA, or Puresmoker, or tastyvapor. Good luck and I plan on seeing you around, if not soon, then later!

Somebody here on ECF recommended BombayVaping for a good selection of juice. The thing I really liked about this site is that you can try tiny 3ml bottles at $2 each and you can double or even triple the flavor plus choose what strength and PG/VG you want. I haven't found a website that gives you so many options especially flavor strength. At $2 a bottle you won't break the bank unless you do like I did and order just about everything.

For me the difference in quiting analogs was just simply this. If I don't buy them then I can't smoke them. So when I get cravings, I go do something (exercise for me, I know others do different things). Then when I am done, I enjoy my PV. I think it helps that I smoked Nat Shermans, so I was always a bit of a analog snob. :)

I've been analog free for 4 months.

I totally agree with NicLiq. Get the Backo from Backwoods Brew. I smoked Marlboro for 40 years. But eqpt. has to be right too--mine is a RIVA with Boge LR 2.0 cartomizer with Backo. You'll get satisfying taste, vapor and throat hit with no hassle. BWB has sample sizes, Liberty Flights has Riva starter kits - even one that comes with cartos. After 2 months I'm down to 4 analogs a day and getting close to zero. The road to perfection was not without bumps though. Keep trying and read a lot of ECF.
