The cartomizers that came with my "White Dragon" 808 kit, were some of the best tobacco tasting ones i've had. I haven't had a cart or juice taste quite like it since. It was more like a cherry pipe tobacco that was delish!

I thought I'd be a strict tobacco type, then i had my first taste of vanilla and then STRAWBERRY LEMONADE!!! YUM!

It's kinda funny cause Cherry Limeade is going to win over Strawberry Lemonade when it comes to drinking. But, the very thing that I like about drinking it makes it a worse vape. The strawberry is smoother and sweeter, which I find I prefer when vaping compared to drinking.

When you get your eqpt. right and start finding juices you like, don't run out and buy a big batch of anything. Your taste buds are going to change a lot over time and your favorite today probably won't be your favorite tomorrow. Not to mention that some juice vendors don't have much quality control or recipes change or something. You can also check the "For sale or trade e-juice" section. Sometimes people will sell a batch of different juices that they don't want for pretty cheap.

Tobacco flavors-

FSUSA has some great ones: Their Wyatt Earp is VERY pipe-tobacco like, and I'm stalking the mailman so I can try their (new) purecig and americanspirit flavors.

If you like really RICH tobacco, some of the "enhanced tobaccos" like RY4 and 555 might really suit you. (Sure do me- and I don't DO food flavored vapes.)

Best,
Ande

Don't look at vaping as having to quit cold turkey. Use vaping to replace as many of your tobacco cigarettes as possible. I still smoke a few a day after a year of vaping, but I go for several hours, sometimes from lunch to supper, without a cigarette. When you feel the urge, vape a little more frequently and the craving will subside.

If you cut your tobacco consumption in half, you have done yourself a world of good. Eventually, you will find that tobacco cigarettes taste like crap and vaping is much better. It's a matter of finding the right ecig and the right juices.

Try Vermillion River's Kentucky Premium Blend

And don't worry about the analogs, it'll come. I'm still on them, making a gradual changeover while I try out different flavors.

vermilion river offers a 4.5ml free sample (only $2.50 shipping waiting on mine now!) , I prefer only tobacco flavors now, i vape DK-TAB all day.

It took me a week to stop smoking, heres my tip:

Only smoke the "Best" cig of the day, IE mine was soon as i woke up, vape the rest of the day. you will see in a week the damn analog tastes worst than ... and you will prefer the vape. thats how i did it, and have converted lots others.

I've been vaping for over 4 weeks now and while I still had a couple of analogs a day for a while, I've not had an analog in over a week and have no desire to do so. I started off with Greensmoke, I like the Red Label and I've also been trying various flavors of liquid. I also ordered some Smoke51 cartomizers, Tobacco flavor 16 MG, which really provide a decent throat hit and have a reasonable tobacco like flavor. It feels like smoking a full flavor cigarette. I used the 51% off coupon code, so the price is not too bad. I also ordered an Ego-T from liberty-flights.com and some 10ml samples from Vapor Vixens. All I can say is don't give up yet. Keep looking for a flavor that you like..

You're getting a bunch of suggestions, but let me throw in mine as well. "Tampa" from Vapor Station. In six months, I've found nothing else that's even approached this juice when it comes to mimicking a burning cigarette. (Certainly not Backo from BWB, which tastes like you're licking an unlit cig, which is not exactly what I crave...)

You are definately not failing at vaping. Maybe you need to just adjust your goals. Finding a flavor that you love is key, I admit- but maybe you will need other motivations as well. Just experiment. There is no "right" way. I love the flavor suggestions here, but many of them I tried and really didn't like. For me, Frisco by Vaporstation is the most intensely "analog" experience I've had. But its not my favorite juice. Presently that honor belongs to VaporStation Tennessee. However, my switch happened strictly using V4L Coffee and Kamel.

Also, try other batteries/kits. People would say to me, "are you happy with the 808? do you like the performance?" Well, I had no idea- I'd never really tried anything else! A hit here or there off someone elses didn't seem that different to me. Then, I was given a 510 and could see how it worked with my juice and my ways...wow! yes, there IS a difference... Then I was gifted a home-made juicebox and fell in love like I never imagined. I had no idea what was out there and what would work for me until I had it in my hand.

I didn't try to quit analogs, I was mostly curious and supporting my BF by vaping. After a week I found that it was the vape I was craving, not the cigarette. The analog lost the ability to scratch my itch. I know I am lucky :)

My suggestions: Hang out with fellow vapers, try new flavors and take some of the pressure off yourself! Enjoy the experience for what it is for you. Don't expect an exact exchange of cigarette to vaping like a magic light switch. Let it evolve. Hang tough.

It took me 3 months to completely switch. I just replaced one trigger at a time with a good long vape (almost till nic induced nausea). Once I got an eGo and then a boxmod and some 36 and 48mg from MyFreedonSmokes (one of the few vendors that sell above 24mg) it made these vape times much shorter.
I primarily vape tobacco flavors. I started with 555 then RY4 then Marlboro then DK-TAB. All are good but none really taste like tobacco. I took me a year but now my daily is 18mg DK-TAB. I do keep some 36 mg menthol around for those "trying" times.

I have been off cigarettes for 18 months now and know I will never go back but everyone is different. I think the older you are and see first hand the damage cigarettes do the more determined you become to not go back. I already have COPD from smoking off and on for 60 years and was able to finally stay quit thanks to Vaporizers. I know returning to smoking means I would soon be packing around an oxygen bottle and still might have to someday being as I waited so long to quit. My advice is keep trying until you make it. The alternative isn't good! Vape2Live!

Hey guys,

I got a E-NIC for the first time a few weeks ago. I used it pretty good for the first 4 days now I'm back to smoking analogs. I feel like such a failure. I admire the people on here that can stick with the e-cig and say screw off to the analogs. I'm still searching for a flavor I guess. I got a new one thats called Robacco Caramel and it's 32mg nicotine. I don't like the caramel in it. I need to find a good tobacco flavored liquid with a high nicotine content. I've decided that the fruity foody flavors just aren't for me. I want something that taste like tobacco. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Don't feel bad. A lot of us have wondered off the farm some (myself included).

Tell you what. I have a pretty good assortment of the Backwoods Brew tobacco oriented flavors. They're maybe not quite as strong as what you have, but they are analog-like in strength. 15mg and 18mg. I also mix my own Halo flavors (Freedom, Smooth8, and Torque56). I can mix them in any strength. I have a ton of little bottles. How about I put together a sample kit of tobacco flavors and send it to you. At least that way you can try them before buying any. PM me if you're interested.

Yesterday a fellow member here did a nice gesture for me. He wouldn't accept any form of payment. I promised him I would help the first person I saw (in their honor). This would let me fulfill that promise. So if you want to do this, please thank Erfmann, not me.

Failure? Why? Do you really need to put pressure on yourself?

I have smoked and Vaped (not at the same time, but during the same period of time) for several months and slowly I ended up vaping a lot more than smoking. It gave me time to find my "right way" of vaping, the juices I liked, and the atomizers that worked for me.

Over time, I found that not worrying about where to put the cigarette trash while I drive was great. Besides, it was too cold or to hot to go out, I didn't want to be Joe in the smoking area...etc. I also like changing flavor whenever I feel like it (not so easy with an analogue). I won't even go to the million other benefits of electronic nicotine consumption.

I don't consider myself a failure...and I still don't consider myself an ex-smoker. I still enjoy a cigarette here and there- shamelessly.

I'm finding that I think smoking tobacco is a dumb thing for me to do. It doesn't taste good at all. I have certainly (and immediately) cut out the other 40 or 50 I smoked a day, leaving 10 or so left. After a year of vaping, I don't think I would even buy more except there's always a carton around (my wife still smokes and vapes only occasionally). They are too convenient.

i vape DK-TAB all day.

Oh yes, my personal fave! I quit cigarettes in 97 for 2 years only to take up analog again in the form of Captain Black Sweets, a small pipe tobacco cigar. The DK TAB was my perfect flavour from day one and it allowed me to dump tobacco altogether the first day of vaping. I have another choice that emulates Tim Hortons coffee which is really nice as well.

To the OP, take the time to find your flavour and nic level. All should be well once you settle on your choices and you will very likely leave analogs behind forever. Best of luck with it.
