This is a slim 510? Or any slim model? If so, you should only be using standard resistance atomizers - like things 2.5 to 3 ohms single coils. That may eliminate many of the things that were linked or suggested.

In addition, if you have auto batteries, dripping is never recommended for auto batteries. But it's fine on a sealed manual.

Re 901 - I did not like them for dripping - they have a hole in the sidewall for airflow and liquid will drip out the hole onto your fingers or clothing. Also I had trouble with the barrel rotating relative to the brass threads and that caused some kind of plastic or nylon brace inside the coil compartment to partially block the air intake hole. I also found them difficult to keep clean since there it was mostly sealed below the coil compartment - made it impossible to flow water or alcohol through the atomizer. Brand 901 - 901 was very nice for dripping (other than the leaking) but they went downhill fast IMO. If all of my batteries were 901/KR8 threaded I might use 901 attys to drip for testing liquids, otherwise no.

No, atty's leak when you add too much juice. You can vape an ego/clone with any decent 510 atty, and honestly, unless you want to step up and spend $20+ dollars for an HH 357, just buy which ever ones you can get a good price at in the ohm rating you want. I've had non name brand, non marked atties last me months, and I've had expensive name brand ones pop during their first hour of use. It's honestly pretty similar to playing roulette. As for the whole 510 vs 306 thing, I liked being able to see the juice on the atty in a 306, but that relies on me using a plastic or glass drip tip, and I do not enjoy or like non metal drip tips. Personal preference but the mouth feel is all wrong for me. I stopped buying 306s pretty early because of this. If I'm using a metal drip tip, I might as well pay less for a 510 atty, in my experience.
